"Great hotel with a beautiful view of the river. Staff are warm and helpful. The location is relatively close to Brattleboro and Putney where there is shopping and restaurants. The rooms are spacious, updated and very clean. Room 206 is perfect for sitting on the balcony overlooking the river. For boaters, canoers, kayakers, etc there is a dock on the property where you can put in. Biggest drawback is that there is no food on the property but they do have complimentary bottles of water, hot water for tea and coffee."

"Lovely resort although the pool is closed until October. Beautiful, peaceful property. 300+ rooms! Music on patio with s’mores was fun. Karen was very nice and helpful. Only negative it is 15 miles from town and not a lot to do!"
