I had an amazing 3 night stay at Hotel Silberhorn in Wengen. I cannot recommend this place enough! The location is so perfect, just a stone's throw away from the train station. This makes exploring other towns in the region super efficient and easy. The hotel is also a quick walk away from the cable car up to Mannlichen....Wengen is the perfect base. I also highly recommend this place because the spa is amazing! Not many people have mentioned it in other reviews. It was so awesome to unwind at the end of each day in the outdoor hot tub and use the sauna and steam room. The facilities are so fabulous and it was never super crowded! I also loved the instrumental Disney music at breakfast each morning. It definitely was a great way to start the day. One thing that could be improved on is updating the bathrooms. The rooms are spacious and clean but the bathroom seemed a bit outdated and in need of some upgrades. I hope to come back here again one day. I really enjoyed my experience.
Jan and Marcella at front desk were so warm, welcoming and helpful. The location of hotel was perfect - right across from train station. Our view from 430 was extraordinary. Hotel was quiet but beds and pillows weren’t to our liking. Beds too firm and pillows too soft. Everything else was very nice. We would stay there again when in area.
