I chose this property to celebrate my one-year wedding anniversary, and my wife and I stayed for two nights (three days). Overall, the property is nice, fairly clean, updated, and conveniently located near shopping and restaurants.
Unfortunately, there were a few significant disappointments.
One of the main reasons I booked this property was because it advertised a BBQ grill, which was prominently featured in the listing photos. Unfortunately, the grill was unusable. It was extremely dirty and had a strong odor that made it impossible to cook on. It appeared that it had not been cleaned in a very long time.
Another issue was the number of flies inside the property. On the second morning of our stay, my wife and I spent nearly an hour killing approximately ten large flies.
Additionally, anyone taller than about 6'1" should be aware that the ceilings are quite low in several areas. I found myself constantly watching my head to avoid hitting the ceiling.
The neighbors were also noticeably noisy at times, which made it more difficult to enjoy what was intended to be a relaxing anniversary getaway.
Before writing this review, I wanted to give the owners an opportunity to address at least the grill issue. On the morning of our second day, they emailed asking whether we had any concerns. I immediately informed them about the condition of the grill, hoping it would be cleaned or otherwise addressed during our stay. Unfortunately, nothing was done.
