We were greeted with a cheerful young lady and lobby was spotless. It's 1:30 in the morning and we had to get up and search the bed because my husband and I were itching so badly. Did not see anything, so I think maybe they didn't rinse sheets well. Shower oscillated between very cold or very hot - but good pressure. Hot breakfast was very normal for HIE. Not likely to repeat stay.
In town for a family event so stayed for just a single night at the HIE. For what it is I couldn't ask for anything more. Clean, comfortable, friendly folks and about a mile from our destination. Good, good and good. Will return. Recommended
This facility is what I expect from HIE. From the welcoming at the front desk (thank you, Brogan), to the room and it's amenities - everything as perfect! :D This facility feels brand new (is 10 years old). There is a nice candy dish that was full, coffee bar had hot coffee and decaf, and my reservation was all ready when I checked in. I loved that the room had a full 3' fridge and there was no gap in the furniture. And, there was a working freezer compartment. Also, the bathroom amenities were a nice surprise: make-up towelettes and q-tips (see photo). And, the price was better than most HIE's. Do note, there is no fitness center, but for just $5 you get a pass to the YMCA just one block away.
I came to town for a function at SWOSU. The person checking me in was efficient, not overly friendly. The room was nice and well furnished. It was clean except for long hair in bathroom. All appliances worked. I did have to share bathroom with the pet cricket the crickets are everywhere. Check out was quick and efficient.
Great customer service! We were there with my daughter's softball team. We checked out and made the long trip home, only to realize that we had accidently left our trash bag of wet swimsuits behind. Housekeeping found the bag, and instead of throwing it away, they found some of our teammates who were still there and sent our stuff home with them! It could've easily been thrown away and no-one would've faulted the hotel. However they took their time to investigate the bag and to find our stuff a way home! Thank you!!!
Traveling with a friend from NM to MO and stopped here for the night. What a great staff, really friendly and happy to see you. Fast checkin. We were exhausted so shower and bed. The beds are to die for. Really comfy. On the softer side, which I love. But if you want firm, this isn't the place. Pillows are labeled soft and firm also so you have a choice. I like lots, she likes minimal so we were both happy. Easy off and back on the highway but no traffic noise. Diner next door, but we didn't go so I can't comment on it. The place we stayed in MO was not so great, so we left a day early and even though it was a looooong day, we drove through to come back here for the night on the way back. Different staff, but still friendly. Found out they patrol the parking area during the night for extra peace of mind.
Had a nice room, we had everything we needed, very well taken care of, very easy check in - check out, breakfast was very good and plentiful, the kids had a ball in the pool, and I relax in a chair. we will be back! Thank you
What I ask of each HIE property is a comfortable bed and a hot shower with good water pressure. If this is what you seek as well, this hotel is perfect. The water pressure is FANTASTIC. Rooms are new (maybe the hotel is?) and there is a decent restaurant across the parking lot and a Tesla supercharger as well if you happen to drive one. Largest indoor hotel pool I've seen as well, other than at a resort.
This hotel is in my hometown. I was scheduled as speaker for an online Webinar program, scheduled to start at 5:00 pm. But, we lost power due to widespread storms at 5:00 am. Power was out in the entire town and surrounding communities. It was vital for me to have a power and Internet source for the night's program. I heard this hotel had a generator for emergency power outages. I visited and a polite young lady named Sidney was at the desk. I explained my dilemma and asked if they had rooms. They did. She also offered to let me use a conference room in the hotel for free. She was so very kind and accommodating. I considered her offer but was afraid that there would be background noise. So she got me a room and I broadcast from there with complete peace and quiet. The 400 online attendees loved the program. The room was absolutely quiet, clean and inviting, as always. I salute Sidney for alleviating my worries and turning what could have been a national disaster into a trouble-free program.
Are you looking for that authentic " oil field man camp" experience? Well, you have found the right place. First off, this hotel is owned by some eclectic energy company. I do not expect a New York City experience in Weatherford Oklahoma, but I do expect a hotel to be commensurate with it's brand standards. I booked a rewards night stay at this hotel as holiday inn's are usually clean and offer a decent breakfast. Boy was I wrong. My kids sinuses were immediately plugged once we got into the room. It took me a little while to figure it out, but the air conditioner was absolutely caked with dirt and mold. Of course my kids were already asleep and we were unpacked by the time that I figure this out. We got no sleep. The bedding was torn, and pretty gross overall. It was just not what you would expect at a Holiday Inn. On a serious note, breathing mold and dust spores all night long is not good for your health. This hotel is clearly intended to be a man camp for oil field workers. It is not the place to go with a family. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly, as well as all of the other staff that we encountered. Photos attached of the moldy and dirty air conditioner. As well as the ripped bedding.
