Great place with tons of room and a big yard that the dog loved. Quiet neighborhood and really beautiful long range views. Out in the country, but it's also very convenient to good shopping and restaurants. Farmers market nearby. Amazing apples in the fall. Paved road all the way in. Entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway is just minutes away.

This is a wonderful home overlooking the most beautiful mountains. In a wonderful neighborhood, quiet and very convenient to Waynesville and local attractions. We would rent this house again.

Location was great! Quiet private area, and had an awesome view of the mountains. Kitchen could use a new set of frypans with lids, and more common baking pans (cookie sheets & pizza pan). Appliances in the kitchen all worked great.Also extra towels would be a plus, as each queen bedroom had but 1 set for guests to use.

Beautiful views right from the living area! Perfect location, close to downtown Waynesville, Blue Ridge Pkwy, and Asheville. We had 3 couples along with our 12 year old daughter—everyone had their own room. 2 of the bedrooms share a bathroom in the hallway which worked just fine for us, but something to be aware of. Nice, large dining table for the whole family along with games and puzzles to do. We visited the farm right across the street (2 miles away) which was really cute. Hiking available really close by (Standing Rock Overlook was beautiful and very close.)

Wish I was (back) there!

This home has everything you need to have a wonderful vacation, and some fun extras too, like a piano, guitar, and games! The view from the living room is spectacular (the window seat is AMAZING and cozy), and it’s in a beautiful neighborhood. The location is great as you’re close enough to the highway, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Downtown Waynesville, and Lake Junaluska; all of which we visited! We took our 2 daughters, their husbands, and our 11-month-old granddaughter and we all loved being there. We were sad to have to leave and really hope to come back again every year and stay longer if we can afford it!

Perfect..but make sure about check out timing, they don't consider even though someone is sick

Everything was just perfect. Only complaint is that we requested some delay in check out as one of the kid was sick, but they didn't allow. They said cleaning person will come as early as 10 AM so we had to check out at 10 AM. But we were outside and nobody showed up.

Lovely home, get the trip insurance

The house was nice, clean except for some stains on shower curtains in the bathroom (the kind that don't scrub off easily). Lovely views and easy access in and out of home. Get the travel insurance - we had a medical emergency with my son, one of the planned vacationers, in the hospital. With a 5 day notice the rental company shrugged and said there was nothing they could do. They had already collected the full amount of payment. I even offered to book a different date and let them keep the money and they refused.

Missed Opportunity

I'm sorry to say that I missed an opportunity to stay at this property. It is all on me. For some unknown reason, I reserved the wrong weekend! I didn't realize this until the night before my actual departure. I checked to see if the property was still available, but sadly it was not. I had to rate the above categories in order to be able to leave this message. I've rated everything in the middle. I didn't want to give a poor/excellent review without staying at the property.
