Well, those that know me would say that I had died and gone to heaven at the Outdoorsman Motel. What a lovely, comfortable place. The knotty pine and cabin motif add to your vacation vibe, but it is the management that made it heaven. I went down to ask for two drinking glasses as we were going to have a relaxing cocktail at the end of a day full of hiking, sightseeing, and absorbing the nearby beauty of the area. The helpful owner not only handed over two plastic cups, but upon hearing what I was going to do do with them, went away and came back with two crystal old-fashioned glasses! That's the part that sent me to heaven. It is important which glass type (but I digress). Parking is easy; the rooms are spacious; and the location can't be beat.

It was a nice renovated hotel. Rooms were nicely decorated and clean. Check in was fast. Very friendly people. Free coffee and fresh baked cookies were a nice touch. Great location. Very reasonable prices. This will be my number one choice going forward.
