We came to town for the night to visit friends from out of state, so we didn't want to spend a lot of money on a hotel, and we wanted something close. Well, that's about what we got. It was a so-so room, it met our needs, but in the morning the maid knocked on our door and as I was going to look to see who it was, she started coming in on her own. This was over an hour before check-out time. She claimed that her list said we had already checked out. Then after speaking with our parents who were staying two doors down from us, the same thing happened to them. I'm not sure exactly what kind of a system they use, but I didn't really appreciate having the maid walk in on us. Also, we got a king sized bed, but there were just four very small (and kind of pathetic) pillows on the bed. If you're not going to have the king sized pillows on a king sized bed, at least provide 6 pillows.
Given all of this, I probably will stay there next year when we are in town, because it is the only hotel option in town, and it was cheap enough.
In the past year we've made significant updates to the hotel, including redoing the lobby, porch, and deck, updating the pool mechanicals, the lighting, and new flooring. And we keep it nice and clean.
