Hyatt Regency Reston

The staff were excellent at every interaction. The Panera located inside the hotel has some problems, that was the only negative.

I was at the hotel for a competition, and the facilities were top notch. The room was comfortable and quiet. Check-in went very quickly. When I wasn't ready for housekeeping to clean my room one morning, they were very considerate about coming back later. Since my competition went quite late, my group and I were able to get dinner at a local eatery (Clyde's) which was nice since not many other places were open at the time we needed, and the hotel restaurant was only serving small plates.

It's at the heart of the Reston Town Center, close to many shops and restaurants. Staff was nice and friendly. Amenities are what you would expect from a Hyatt. We would definitely stay here again.

Hyatt is an excellent location in Reston Town Center. Many restaurants and shops to enjoy. The bike path is right next door for biking hiking and jogging. The Fairfax Connector bus takes you to the Wiehle Metro Station providing easy access to DC.

Beautiful hotel. We had a king room that was very spacious with a desk, chair/ottoman, and another chair. The bathroom was small, but I think most hotel bathrooms are. Our package included breakfast, for which we chose the buffet both days. It was excellent food with a wide variety offered. We had intended to use the fitness facilities, but were unable. However, we did go check them out--they are well-appointed with lots of machines, free weights, and more. Pool and hot tub/spa were appealing. The hotel is in the town center shopping area, so there were lots of shops nearby. There was a Panera in the hotel lobby area. One downside was that there was no coffee in the lobby. It was close to bus stops that could be used to access the Silver Metro line to get into Washington, D.C. (about a 40-50 minute ride once on metro; bus ride was 5-10 minutes to Wiehle-Reston Station).

I did not give a high rating because we could not get enough towels. Only 3 bath towels and 2 washcloths in the room for a family of 4. In the morning when we realized we did not have enough we called the front desk and asked for more. No towels were ever brought to the room. When the room was made up in the evening, again only 3 bath towels and 2 washcloths were left.

Pros: nice quiet and clean room. Beds very comfy. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Allowed us to check out late as husband was ill. Room service was so helpful bringing juice, tea and crackers to us when we became ill. Very convenient location to shops, restaurants and movie theater. No car needed.

Near family and easy off the highway. Lots of shopping and Hyatt name recognition. Good solid pleasant place to stay.

Had room with no tub, always wet floor when showered. No place to hang towels or wash cloths. Hall noisy Saturday night. Thankfully police came.

Some of the hotel staff were extremely rude and overbearing. In trying to leave the hotel I had very expensive equipment with me and drove my car to the front of the hotel to finish getting my things and check out. I locked the car and then the valet people demanded the keys to my car before I could leave it. They were very rude and almost tried to physically stop me from going into the hotel without leaving my keys (which I did not want out of my sight because of the equipment I had locked into the car). If I ever go back into this area I will not stay at a Hyatt hotel because of this. I also had problems in my room with the bathtub drain being plugged. I took a shower the first night and the water backed up about 4 inches deep leaving a black ring on the tub and my feet. I could not take a shower any other day because of this. The staff and the tub ruined my stay at this hotel.

Wonderful! Great location, and amazing value! Loved the breakfast package!

no frig in room. free breakfast was an hour wait, but it was ok

This hotel is especially nice because of it's location in the Reston Town Center, which provides many options for dining and entertainment without getting into the car and driving. Rooms are clean, service is great and location is probably the best in the area.

You can't ever seem to go wrong at Hyatt! The hotel is very clean with modern design and the beds are super comfortable. It is situated in the heart of Reston Town Center so it is surrounded by tons of restaurants and boutiques. Would definitely recommend staying there if you're planning on staying in Reston. Definitely the best hotel there.

A bit Pricey, but a short walk to anything and everything Reston has to offer.... book early sells out every week to business travelers

We also had two business deals going on the staff was very helpful to us.

Friendly staff, great location, great value. We weren't there long but our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

My boyfriend and I needed a night away from the Holiday craziness, so we booked one night with the Hyatt in Reston which happens to be one of our favorite spots. Booked online, called and requested we have a room with a view of the town center on the highest floor available. We ended up being on the 10th floor with an amazing view, couldn't have been better! Bed was great, pillows were awesome, wish I could have kept one!! The staff was welcoming and very professional, atmosphere is very upscale and open. We will definitely be returning!

The best thing about the hotel is its great location. Near good restaurants and and many shops. Room price is high compared to other hotels near by during my period of stay.

The Hyatt is one of my favorite hotel chains, so it didn't surprise me that I enjoyed my stay. What separates this property from, say, the Westin Reston Heights or the Marriott @ Worldgate Centre are the amenities which are walking-distance away. I was visiting family on this visit and so didn't bother to rent a car. But given the Hyatt's location in Reston Town Center--which has Clyde's, McCormick & Schmick's, CVS, Starbucks, the Gap, a movie theater, J Crew, Big Bowl, etc.--I didn't need a vehicle. There's also a La Madeleine, Best Buy, and a grocery store (Harris Teeter) only a block or 2 away.
