Hilton Arlington

Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable. However for the price paid, amenities were very limited. The mall the hotel is attached to is completely closed for renovations. Had I known this would probably have picked a different hotel. However metro is right outside the hotel and there is an ihop across the street Incase you opt not to go for the overpriced breakfast at the restaurant.

It is a nice clean place, great staff. Great location.

Friendly staff, very accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Had everything we could need and more. The Metro station is right next to the hotel and was easy to navigate with imaps on iPhone. We were able to travel into Washington DC with ease using the Metro. Great little bakery at the bottom and restaurants in walking distance. Would stay there again and would definitely stay at a Hilton again, because of this hotel.

Basic, clean hotel. Nothing fancy. Nice to have windows that open. The Ballston Metro stop is right under the hotel, which is really convenient.

I chose this hotel mostly because of its proximity to a metro station. The hotel room was spacious and clean, had a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker, and was very quiet at night. The location of the hotel is really convenient to getting around in DC. The metro entrance is right in front of the hotel and accessible from a covered walkway so you won't even get wet if it's raining. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.

I had to sleep with the window open due to the terrible chemical smell in the room. Then when I changed room the wireless internet did not work and I had to work downstairs. They said they were upgrading the internet and it was not working in some rooms. They are in the midst of a major remodel so I would avoid this place until it is done, probably sometime in April 2016.

This hotel is much improved following a renovation a few years ago. Rooms are comfortable, with a fairly standard layout. Fixtures and furniture appear to be chosen for quality as well as price, rather than price along, as can happen at some other hotels. The staff was prompt, attentive, and effective. Rooms are pricey, but not out of range (not even the top of the range) for this general area. Location right on top of a metro stop is very convenient.

If you've got business in Arlington, this hotel's a good value and close to food.

Location wise, this hotel is in Arlington which is close to DC and all the touristy attractions. The Ballston Metro station is literally on it's doorstep, as well as the Ballston Common Mall, so it's a very convenient location. The services offered are very basic - there is a small fridge and coffee maker in your room, although they also offer coffee in the lobby in the mornings, as well as lemonade in the afternoons. There is a business center with PC and printer, and I believe a small gym is available to guests, although I did not personally check that out. In the rooms, we had twin beds, which felt kind of small, and the pillows were HORRENDOUS!!! They were small in size and had NO support whatsoever. I would recommend that you bring your own if this sort of thing matters to you! Also during our stay, one of the elevators was out of order (although no signs were posted), so this also deducted some points from my review. Overall, this hotel has all the basic necessities, and because it is in a business neighborhood, it is priced towards the high end, especially on week days.

Could have a better internet connection, otherwise, the staff were friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Enjoy the location and the surrounding restaurants.

The staff is courteous and the rooms are spacious. I miss a gym

This hotel was perfectly priced and convienently located right next to the Ballston metro station. This made for an easy commute to and from DC. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area.

Got the job done Clean room. Good access to transportation. Would stay again.

Finally had a chance, after walking by it many times. The staff was great, the bed was the best I remember sleeping in. The location in Ballston near the metro is why I stayed and finally I got a rate that I could afford. All wonderful things. The only slight drawback was that the room wasn't as quiet as I would have liked, but turning the fan on drowned out the noise from the neighbors' tv, and I would have liked it if the light from the neighbors' room (adjoining, but locked) had not leaked under their door into mine. This was a minor thing, but seemed a little weird. All in all, I plan to stay again when the price is right.

It was a perfect hotel to go to DC all weekend! Clean room and great breakfast.

Convenient location just outside Ballston metro. Room, bed, and carpet were very clean, if a bit dated. Room doors slammed hard and walls were thin, creating noise at night. Decent value for money. Staff were very polite.

I had a friend staying at VHC and this hotel was a great location. Very close to the hospital and right next to the metro. The bed was extremely comfortable even though I did not sleep much due to my situation. The staff was extremely friendly.

Needed a weekend stay close to the hospital that was clean and comfortable. This was perfect!

Great location, close to Metro, shopping and restaurants.
