Great location for catching the East Falls Church metro into DC. Staff were pleasant and helpful. No coffee in room but did find coffee in breakfast area. Breakfast was ok. Nice to have, not as elaborate as some, but more than a continental breakfast.

The good The lady manager who I found at check in was kind enough to allow me an early check in and I had issues with my card so I paid a deposit in cash to allow me check the issue with my bank following day as it was late back home. Close proximity to the metro station is a plus. Good breakfast. The bad However the lady who came on evening shift really harassed me about the balance. In any case what I had deposited was enough to cover the rate for 2 nights but I asked her to call her manager who resolved the issue. Internet was always down and not reliable if on a business trip where you may need to work. Sometimes the toiletries would be replaced but the bed not made, leaving me to wonder if cleaning was done.

This was a great hotel. The location was very convenient for the trains into DC, only a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. Our room on the first floor was clean and tidy when we entered, and everything was as it needed to be. The free breakfast was good, with plenty of options given, and the items were regularly refreshed. My only negative on breakfast was the amount of one use/disposable items, which seemed very wasteful- however I do understand that these equally mean less items to clean or wash from the hotel. I would recommend this hotel, and if I'm back in the area or intending to visit Washington again, I would definitely stay again

Not the best but not the worst either.
You can tell it’s an older hotel. The staff was great but the rooms need some updating The bed was a little uncomfortable but the pillows were great. We did have some noise from the restaurant behind the hotel. We didn’t eat breakfast not up to our standards but there is a great diner close. Bob & Ediths. All in all it was clean, staff was great. But an ice machine closer by would be helpful. Remember it’s an econolodge and you are getting what you pay for. For a quick 1night cheaper stay it works.

We like safe and quiet. However, our refrigerator didn’t work and woke up to food. I did offer to fix it but we didn’t want them to come in the room while we were there. The breakfast room was small and no elevator but the breakfast section was good. We had to ask for new towels. only got one tow per person for two nights. They were accommodating close to the metro station.

We liked that it was located just off a main road and a short walk from a Metro station. The beds were comfortable enough and the room was clean. Breakfast was so-so. The breakfast area is pretty cramped. Front desk personnel were helpful with Metro information and food options. Unfortunately they weren't as helpful with an item we left behind. My wife forgot her jacket in our room. We called and were told they would look for it and get back to us, but I had to call back twice over the next four days to finally get an answer: the jacket wasn't there. Sadly that means it was either misplaced or stolen.

Our stay at this Econo Lodge was pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good each morning. The staff was friendly and helpful. The metro stop is within 10-12 minutes walking on an actual walking/bike path. We felt safe each time we walked to the metro. Restaurants within walking distance are limited. The hotel does not have an elevator which makes carrying heavy luggage difficult. Overall, a good experience.
