She has been lovingly updated with a great room, solarium and walk in bath on the main floor. The grounds are stunning...with 4 white arbors, a large metal gazebo, garden statuaries, beautifully landscaped gardens, covered sectional, fire pit, grill and picnic table all surrounded by a white picket privacy fence. Bring the whole family because there are 4 bedrooms , 3 baths, and a full kitchen. Also perfect for that girls weekend of crafting, painting etc because the space is also an event venue for weddings & parties. 1/2 hour to Iowa City and the University of Iowa. Take in a Hawkeye Game or 20 minutes to Kalona's Amish shops & bakeries. Downtown Washington is 1 block away with its picturesque square, shops, restaurants & the world's oldest continuously running theater. Is she haunted.... Yes.... We have had multiple ghost investigation teams in. They have found some very compelling evidence but nothing has ever been negative or malicious. Book your stay today!
