We booked this to use as a base for a few trips to the surrounding area. Hotel was okay although bar was expensive. Rooms are clean but a little small as was the bed which was a pain. Breakfast is a cat fight and just quite basic but all in all the hotel is okay and a good base for Warwick and Stratford upon Avon.
Booked two rooms here for one night only. Friendly greeting on arrival and asked if we would like the rooms next to each other. Given the choice of ground floor or second floor. The rooms were very clean and looked freshly painted, no evidence of dust, cobwebs or previous occupants. Good soundproofing from the motorway on the windows, as we found out when we opened them.... not a problem though as there was air con. The beds were super comfy. Free WiFi was a bonus. Despite it being very busy, the rooms were really quiet aswell. A buffet style breakfast was included in the price, which consisted of juice, cereals, pastries, toast, muffins and the usual bacon, egg sausage and beans. We paid £3.50 for the car park but this lasted for 24 hours, so it meant we could load the car up in the morning, then leave it there until we got back from Warwick later in the day. All in all, a perfect stay!
Nice clean room very quite as it backed on to the M40 so sound proof glazing works Limited menu in the evening but breakfast buffet good Parking is chargeable on a nightly basis 5 min drive from Warwick races and the town
Stayed here for one night , room was lovely and the hotel itself quite pleasant but let down by the rude and miserable staff , when booking we specifically asked to b on ground floor as my dad is disabled and was put on first floor but when we mentioned this the lady was very rude and very unhelpful. At breakfast we waited 10 mins for bacon to be replenished and when asking for more tea bags u would have thought I asked the for the world wud not stay here again
This hotel was very clean and comfortable with good bathroom facilities. The problem was breakfast, or rather lack of breakfast. We went down half an hour after the start of service to find no plates or knives, so I asked a waitress. Got these only to find they had run out of bread to make toast. There were then several people with 1/2 filled plates of breakfast waiting for eggs and bacon to be replenished from the kitchen. My companion was also faced with empty yogurt bowls and lack of croissants. When the one person who seemed to be in charge of this refilling process was asked, she said that this was normal, and having read reviews it seems to be an ongoing problem. This situation did make a big impression on our stay and seeing several reviews with the same complaint perhaps management could address the problem, and therefore increase ratings
Disappointed you had to pay for parking. They seemed very short staffed. Nice room and shower. Breakfast was ok. Dinner was a fiasco. We were told we couldn’t order food until after 8pm as kitchen was backed up. That would be 40 mins before we could order, then wait for food. We waited till 8 but then just ordered panini as the couple beside us said the chicken was so dry she felt like sucking it. The lady on the bar let us have it half price as we had waited so long , so that was nice. A pain to find of the huge roundabout. Don’t follow the sat nav!
Stayed for one night in August 2019. Very clean, bed was comfortable and the room was much bigger than we thought. We had to pay for parking overnight which from memory was only a few pounds. SO close yo Warwick Castle, literally 3 minutes drive down the road. So easy to find and staff were so lovely during check in and check out. Would definitely stay again.
The breakfast was a bit limited, when I went there were no pastries or herbal teas left. The staff weren't particularly helpful or smiley when I asked them a question. Plenty of parking but you do have to pay £3.50 to stay there. The room was basic but spacious. You get what you've paid for.
Stayed for two nights B & B while visiting relatives nearby. A comfortable, clean room with triple glazing so no noise from the motorway nearby. Easy check in and good breakfast although sometimes a queue for the coffee machine. They also provide a reasonable choice for dinner (particularly useful as the adjacent Harvester closed down earlier this year) and we had a good meal on one occasion. Service was always very good. Separate charge of £7 for the car park which is rather annoying! Warwick town centre about 5 minute drive with many restaurants.
Just off M40 motorway so ideal base for our 4 day break in Warwickshire. Cannot fault the room which was clean and comfortable. Good selection of breakfast foods on offer. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
