This hotel used to be much better. It needs renovation and repair in certain areas. The hotel staff is excellent as usual. The restaurants are very good. The spa services are not as good as they were in the past.

I have stayed at a club room.. The lounge is very cosy.and the food is great

Strongly recommend, both for business and holidays while visiting Warsaw.

Absolutely fantastic hotel and staff. Cannot wait to return. The view from the pool is amazing.

This hotel is the best value around. You will pay $ 350.00 for tis in the USA. The staff was great and professional. The gym and workout classes are perfect to challenge me a bit. It should be more expensive and exclusive. Its the only hotel i stay in when in Warsaw.

The Intercontinental at Warsaw was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed. Fantastic location in the middle of Warsaw. Nice helpful staff and fantastic clean comfy rooms. The bathroom was very large, clean and had a separate bath and shower. More expensive than others but in my opinion worth it. Only a short trip from Warsaw airport too.

My stay was fantastic. The concierge services were terrific. Even the hotel drivers in their Mercedes we're great. About a 20 minute walk to Old Town and New Town. Next two a huge mall and the Hard Rock Cafe.

Very comfortable hotel. Close to everything downtown. Amazing view of the city, especially from the pool/hot tub on the 43 floor.

Highly recommend this hotel, in a great location in the heart of Warsaw, sincere and helpful staff, great room, and awesome Wellness Center overlooking the city.

If you make a reservation not directly with the hotel but through other websites you will be charged for using the swimming pool. On the 4th of Feb I stayed in the Intercontinental in Warsaw. It was my preferred hotel. I was very surprised that I was charged for using hotels gym and swimming pool, 14 Polish Zloty. I have never been charged for using swimming pool or Gym in any hotels I have stayed in my life. In 99.9% hotels this services are provided at no charge. It does not matter if it is Holiday in or 4 Seasons Resort. None of the management was present or available to explain to me this new policy. Do not recomend food.

great location, wonderful personel, incredible spa on the top floor jacuzzi and pooll and sauna. very good food in the restaurants. The best hotel in Warsaw

Hotel was within walking distance from train station which was great in the City Center which seemed like great area for business travelers. Was about a 20+ minute walk to the more touristy area of Old Town and other sites. Room is what you would expect of an InterContinenal and staff was excellent. Didn't spend a lot of time in hotel to take advantage of facitlities but an amazing gym and swimming pool at the top of hotel with great views of cities. Was a bit annoying that your key would only work to get you to your floor and public floors. So it was impossible to visit a friend's room without meeting in public area. Warsaw seems to have a lot of construction going on to get ready for Euro 2012. Old town area was small but very popular. ate at typical polish restaurant called Podwale which had way too much food, but fun experience. Not much shopping and limited other sites. Did go to park where Chopin's statue is for a Sunday concert in the park with pianist playing his music. was quite pleasant and nice to get something for free :). Not sure it is a city I would visit again unless there was a reason, but pleasant place to see once.

You simply will NOT get a better, more varied breakfast. Talking w/ residents here, this hotel is well known for the best breakfast in the city. Expensive: ~$30, so come hungry.

We only had a short ime in Warsaw, so the proximity of the hotel to Old Town and the train station was great. We did go on a walking tour of the reconstructed old part of town. The room didn't have a twin bed when we got there, but they hustled one up in just 30 minutes. The pool and sauna were great, as was the fitness center. The staff were all very helpful. I was hoping for some wireless internet, but all that was available was the very expensive ethernet. I know that's pretty typical or five star hotels, but I'm amazed that cheap hostels can give you wireless and expensive hotels have to charge extra.

Perfect

The location is very central with respect to downtown, but it is about a 25 minute walk to the "Old City", which is north of the center. Unlike the old city, this part of town has no charm and is very "Sovietic"--you really feel like you're on the other side of the iron curtain--but this is more Warsaw's problem than that of this hotel in particular. Our rate was very low, and we were upgraded to an "apartment", which was large, if oddly shaped. It had the amenities you'd expect from an international 5-star hotel, and the bathroom was particularly nice, with a separate tub and shower. However, things were a bit worn: TVs relatively old (not flat screen), bed not as firm or stable as you might hope, drains a bit slow. For the rate we paid (less than $90), the overall deal was good. The most disappointing aspect of the stay was the interaction with the staff. The concierge was rude and made us wait for a long time to get simple walking directions, even though there was no demand for his services. An agent at the front desk interrupted a discussion between my traveling companion and me in order to interject his opinions. At the top floor, when we went to check out the fitness club, the simple question, "Is there a pool?" prompted the employee at the entrance to start lecturing about how we couldn't enter dressed as we were and need to go change. We didn't have many needs or reasons to deal with staff, and it was problematic that the few times we need help, they were not trained to live up to basic standards courtesy.
