It is what it is - a budget hotel, focused maily on business users I think. Nothing fancy, so you need to set your expectations accordingly. On the positive side, its a great central location with clean and very warm rooms. Breakfast was fine with plenty of choices. However, it is a bit tired and dated and the public areas (reception, bar, etc) are very uninspring.
Had two a joining rooms and each had a bathroom. The room had space and was clean which made all the girls happy. Lady at the front desk was helpful and the hotel is location not far from the square, would stay there again.
Stayed here as part of a two centre deal having travelled up by train from Krakow. Hotel was a large business hotel situated fairly near the station and within walking distance of many places. Rooms were large and clean but lacked any amenities such as coffee and tea. Breakfast was good with a large selection of foods. The hotel was fine but lacked any character and atmosphere. The bar was meant for business people and had zero ambience. Easy to walk to other restaurants etc.
The hotel was spotlessly clean but decor was dated and tired, but it was the kettle, cup and saucer but no tea bags, coffee etc that flummoxed us!! The breakfast was different....I think typical European breakfast, so many sausages it was well placed for shopping etc but found the reception staff uninterested in helping us with directions
Came here with no expectations as I was invited to speak at a conference. Perfect location. Rooms are OK, clean, nothing major to add. Short walking distance from Nowy Swiat and many bars and restaurants.
The hotel is with good location and good service, even if the stuff didn’t know to give me information about all the destination I asked. The hotel is freshly and welcoming. They have a good buffet at breakfast and nice bar which is open 24 hours... Casino is just around the corner - in case someone is interested.
I have stayed here a couple of times now. The location is great but the general décor is in keeping with a soviet style hotel. Perhaps the worst thing about it is that the linen does not appear to be cleaned and you'll get bed bugs biting you - I thought the first time was a one-off but second time around is a bit too much. I won't be staying there again
The hotel is a 3 star standard level but the price was quite high. The personell is not paying attention to the clients and they should be more kind listening more before to talk. The restaurant is low quality, I had to wait 10 minutes to be sat.
I stayed at this hotel for two nights. Good location and good breakfast. The room was clean but outdated and the bed was very narrow and uncomfortable. Bad smell in the bathroom and some mold in the shower. This hotel would not be my first choice next time.
Stayed with our choir on a mini concert tour. The hotel has been recently modernised. Our twin bedded room was perfectly adequate, spotless, with comfortable beds, and a decent shower. The bar was small and not terribly well located, but the staff were first class, helpful and friendly. Tip: there is one lift and a triumph of design over function! If you are not good with stairs, try for a room on the first floor. The hotel is located on a square with shops close at hand and an excellent chocolate shop on the corner! It's a ten minute walk from the 'old' town. There are many restaurants and cafes within a short stroll, and a Kantor (currency exchange) in the same block. All things considered this hotel is good value for money.
