Campanile - Warszawa Varsovie3.0 out of 5.0

The hotel is clean, well located and meets perfectly all requirements for a shortstay in Warsaw. Staff are friendly and although it is not possible to walk to tha main touristic attractions in the city, taxi rides are unexpensive. On a negative side, it was a bit hot in the room. Apparently they do not turn on the air conditioning in May(?) and since the windows cannot be fully open it can get a bit hot...Despite this, I do recommend it and would probably stay again at this hotel if I ever return to Poland. Good value for your money!
Spent a week at the Campanile recently. It was a great stay. Staff was more than hospitable and everyone spoke English. Lobby was roomy and the restaurant was always open. The room was very clean. Good size for a European hotel room. Wifi was great and the TV had many English speaking channels. The hotel is located in a great spot. All types of transportation is right outside the front door. Cabs, buses, tram and trains. Many restaurants are located within a short walk. A major shopping mall is just several blocks away. There is indoor parking available for about $20 US. a day. This was a very good hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
My experience with this hotel is dismal. I was in Poland for 4 days. My first day in Poland was in Poznan and on the second day I transferred to Warsaw. This hotel was booked for the 11th and 12th of May by the company I work for. On arrival at about 11:30 pm on the 11th of May, I was told by the gent at reception that my booking was cancelled by them as my name was not on the credit card. This is a pathetic excuse as all the other hotels I had stayed at in Poland was paid for by the corporate credit card and this was a business visit. To make matters worse, the receptionist who was there was pathetic when it came to customer relations. Despite his obviously fabricated excuse where cancellation was concerned, we realized that it was because they were full up. This was further corroborated as I had offered to pay in cash as well given that it was close to 11.30 pm when we arrived. There was an event in Warsaw that night and most hotels were booked up. Alternatively I went online and booked another property called the Hotel Gromada Warszawa Centrum. The reception who was quite polite and helpful, had everything ready for us within 10 minutes and we were in our rooms in 15 minutes. My advise, please do not stay at Campanile Varsovie. Please use alternate properties such as Hotel Gromada Warszawa Centrum etc.
We just spent 3 nights in this hotel and have no complaints. We stayed on the 7th floor which was nice an quiet. The rooms are modern and clean. We walked in to the city from there which took about 20 minutes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Far from high end, but for value for money you really can't fault it. It's much better than similarly priced hotels elsewhere. The traffic noise is mildly intrusive but that's city living. A good set of ear plugs solves that. In every other respect it is a good budget option, comfortable and clean, modern decor, close to transport and walkable if you're planning to take in various sights.
Nice, clean, fancy hotel, excellent location (20 min from airport Chopin, 5 min from city center - by public transportation). Besides these fabulous things I could not enjoy my visit there, becouse it was impossible to sleep until midnight - thnaks to the guys behind next door. Thay weren't too noisy, they just spoke to each other but I could not just hear them speaking, but understand what they say. It wasn't too exciting anyway... There are so thin walls in this hotel. I don't like it. After 3 nights (and days walking in this fantastic city) I was just dead on my feet and waiting to get home for some sleep... :( I would never go back. Maybe after an exacting recovery...
We spent weekend in April. Not bad, but I have few observations: Bathroom wasn't clean, also we couldn't use sink as it was clogged (reception ignored our request to fix it) Breakfast - no changes from past - decent but nothing special Good location - close to bus/railway station
Good location, modern look, quite small room. But the worst thing is the noise: you can hear the tram and train. Loud and disturbing. It was ok for a night, but the insulation should be fixed. Breakfast was ok.
Cheap but not value for money, very noisy and bad ventilation and lack of maintenance , there's many better options in Warsaw than this for sure. On the positive side beer is cheap in the lobby bar and it's possible to get it cold too
It's a typical basic hotel at reasonable price, and centrally located with central train station 10-15 mins walk away. There is also a tram stop right in front of the hotel connecting you to the city center. However, we encounter some problems on billing matters with the hotel. Upon check out, we settled the payment in cash with the front desk without being made known our credit card has been billed prior for the same amount. It took us a couple of emails & several days to see the credit card transactions reversed. This may be an isolated incident, but it's rather risky that the front desk has no record of credit card billing and allow double payment be done.
