Blocked in Wasaw 24h due to plane connection lost, I was oblidged to stay in hotel selected by LOT company. Kind staff, professional and pay attention to customers. Clean and wide room, sufficiently equiped. Hotel not really situated city center, few km from. Rooms are quite but hotel is located near railway station, so some noisy trains passing during day early to late. Therefore require room on hotel back side or front side to avoid it Breakfast was Ok. Nothing extraordinary, but good
We had a room at 10+ floor, the view was interesting (of the train station); but I remember hearing the loud noise of some of trains passing the station next to the hotel. Other than that, everything else worked and it was a modern, clean hotel. Pros: close to the trian station, where trams and busses can take you to the city center or towards the Vistula river. Breakfast was included and nice. Con: we also felt that the check in time was too late. a bit of trian noise even at higher floors.
For the 500PLN a night as a business trip (with breakfast, 1 room 1 person and a parking) you get: - no option for internet without forced (illegal by the way) confirmation on commercial information receive (I do agree on a personal data management and the rules, but I definitely do not agree on commercial information sending) and the reception person is even not able to help on that (answer "I can't help on that" sure is the most appropriate for a 3 star hotel); - no iron possibility on the floor at least (sorry but I'm not ok to carry my staff openly through out all the hotel to the ironing room on the second floor as the only option only, while hotel is 8 floor building); - and with no option to give a feedback in the room instantly (the questionnaire in the room was not even changed after the last guest, yes it was left filled in) was the last drop in the cup. Rooms look like a star hotel, but the service leaves the room for a better.
The room in the 7th Floor with double bed is small but quite enough for 2 person. Everyday it was fairly cleaned and bed-tidied. The mattress was a little hard but didn't prevent me to have restful nights. The restaurant is nice, modern and Scandinavian style decorated. The menu (lunch, dinner...) didn't change much during my stay. Food is very good. The Hotel staff is very nice and always ready to help. There's a small cosy bar right next to the restaurant area where you can "let your thoughts wander". Another plus is that WiFi is for free :) Overall, I recommend this Hotel. Its price is fair according to its quality=Great!
The hotel was nice and tidy. Good location. A young lady at the reception was very unpolite, even rude (several times and situations). Either it was personal or she just hates people, but there shouldn't be thar kind of employees at the front desk.
Spent over there a couple of days during our visit in Warsaw. The hotel is located in a convenient place, in walking distance from Warsaw Central Railway Station. There is also tram and bus stops right in front of the hotel. It is also in a handy location for shopping, restaurants and pubs. Staff was nice, friendly and helpful. A room was nice and tidy, quite modern. The big minus for the hotel was lack of working air conditioner in the room and the noise from outside, so you can't sleep with window open. Except of that - no problem. Good value for your money!
The hotel is clean, well located and meets perfectly all requirements for a shortstay in Warsaw. Staff are friendly and although it is not possible to walk to tha main touristic attractions in the city, taxi rides are unexpensive. On a negative side, it was a bit hot in the room. Apparently they do not turn on the air conditioning in May(?) and since the windows cannot be fully open it can get a bit hot...Despite this, I do recommend it and would probably stay again at this hotel if I ever return to Poland. Good value for your money!
Spent a week at the Campanile recently. It was a great stay. Staff was more than hospitable and everyone spoke English. Lobby was roomy and the restaurant was always open. The room was very clean. Good size for a European hotel room. Wifi was great and the TV had many English speaking channels. The hotel is located in a great spot. All types of transportation is right outside the front door. Cabs, buses, tram and trains. Many restaurants are located within a short walk. A major shopping mall is just several blocks away. There is indoor parking available for about $20 US. a day. This was a very good hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
My experience with this hotel is dismal. I was in Poland for 4 days. My first day in Poland was in Poznan and on the second day I transferred to Warsaw. This hotel was booked for the 11th and 12th of May by the company I work for. On arrival at about 11:30 pm on the 11th of May, I was told by the gent at reception that my booking was cancelled by them as my name was not on the credit card. This is a pathetic excuse as all the other hotels I had stayed at in Poland was paid for by the corporate credit card and this was a business visit. To make matters worse, the receptionist who was there was pathetic when it came to customer relations. Despite his obviously fabricated excuse where cancellation was concerned, we realized that it was because they were full up. This was further corroborated as I had offered to pay in cash as well given that it was close to 11.30 pm when we arrived. There was an event in Warsaw that night and most hotels were booked up. Alternatively I went online and booked another property called the Hotel Gromada Warszawa Centrum. The reception who was quite polite and helpful, had everything ready for us within 10 minutes and we were in our rooms in 15 minutes. My advise, please do not stay at Campanile Varsovie. Please use alternate properties such as Hotel Gromada Warszawa Centrum etc.
We just spent 3 nights in this hotel and have no complaints. We stayed on the 7th floor which was nice an quiet. The rooms are modern and clean. We walked in to the city from there which took about 20 minutes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
