Hard to sleep after that and our cards didn’t work after that but we were leaving early in the morning. At 6:30 I tried to get coffee ...
I decided 5 weeks before the solar eclipse to make reservations. I wanted to view the eclipse in Santee, SC. This was the closest available at that time. The good: the bed was comfortable. The Bad: The A/C did not cool...fortunately we checked in at 6pm & it was not 95 degree that day. Also, the toilet did not flush completely...if you know what I mean. After checking in we went to dinner in Santee. We did not return until 11pm. We woke up early, took a shower & checked out. It was tolerable for the 10 hours spent there. Unfortunately, because of the solar eclipse the following day, there was not a vacant room available within 100 miles. I will definitely plan ahead in the future!

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful with recommending places to eat and things to do and providing directions to these places.
The hotel was close to my Family Reunion. Ruby Tuesday was within walking distance of the Hotel Warren
