The breakfast offered at Sleep Inn in Walterboro I-95 was sustainable to fulfill our day. However, our room 315 smelled musty and our sink had a slow drain.
All was fine but no extras. The room was clean and nothing fancy. Front desk was friendly. Free breakfast is from 6am-9am and you can find a few simple things like yogurt, waffles, toast, and juice. Check-in took a little too long. There are no portable fans available to guests, and the AC in the room does not run continuously, so we brought a fan in. Water pressure in the shower was great! Mattresses feel hard, lumpy, and cheap. The pool is 3-5 feet deep, and the water was cloudy - it just needed a simple cleaning or shock treatment - and the water is way too warm when hot out. 6 adults will feel crowded in the small pool; add kicking and splashing children to the mix and it's neither pleasant nor refreshing. It always felt clean. Housekeeping does a great job keeping things smelling fresh and sanitary, or leaving you alone when requested. We felt welcome as two female LGBTQ travelers, but there are no extra measures to ensure safety for guests of any kind.

Dog friendly...huge hole in the carpet. Smelly. Loud on interstate side...single pane Windows...thought the traffic was driving thru my room....
