There was nothing to not like. The bedroom was divine, the bed comfy, everything you need and more, food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were so lovely and friendly. The heating was broken in the room I booked. After waiting for an hour or so, I was finally asked to move rooms. The replacement room was half the size, but warm, at least. Also, the toilet in the replacement room was broken, causing it to flush automatically every 5-10mins. There was what seemed to be pips banging together, which could be heard until then kitchen staff went home. Possibly watershutting off somewhere, shocking the pipes. I was glad to check out and go home, to be fair.

usual good service and comfort however was troubled this time by a thick layer of dust in the bedroom, especially on lamp, radio and tissue box next to bed as well as there being some debris on the bathroom floor. I expect better of any hotel let alone one that is usually very good in this respect

The room was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. It even had a couple of games and a book in the room. Pillows were a little on the hard side, but the bed was very comfortable. Considering we had a room overlooking the main road, it wasn't noisy at all. Staff were friendly and the food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was good.
