This hotel could be very nice but it needs a good, deep cleaning. The staff was friendly and the bed seemed clean and was comfy. There was dust and fingerprints on most things. I had to clean up a spill on the bathroom counter and the fridge was dirty with a spill in the freezer. The toilet ran all night off and on. The shower had black mold and the tub didn't drain. There were stains on the sheets. There was dirt in the corners of the floor behind the doors. The rooms just need to actually be cleane well. Overall, it was just plain gross and I won't be staying at a Red Roof Inn again in any state.

This falls under the “you get what you pay for” category. The bedspread on our bed had a stain on it and so did the blanket! Disgusting! Luckily we only needed to sleep under the top sheet. I was so grossed out all night, I had a hard time falling asleep. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work, there was a burned out lightbulb above the sink (housekeeping didn’t notice this? We left the light on for a reason!) and there was mold around the grab bars, and the corners in the shower. And the shower curtain was moldy!! More grossness! (Forgot to take a picture of that, but trust me, it was moldy.) Even the base of the lamps were dirty. Housekeeping left a lot to be desired! When we turned on the fan or A/C, a smell of mildew came wafting into the room. Not a healthy thing to breathe when one has respiratory issues. The A/C unit cover was partially off outside. Yes, agree with other poster...very noisy room...right across the street is the expressway. If you want quiet, don’t stay here! I don’t know where the review guy was who said he had waffles and a continental breakfast, but it sure wasn’t here! We got a bag with an Otis Spunkmeyer muffin, a warm bottle of orange juice and an apple. And not even a smile and a good morning or have a nice day from the desk clerk! (Mgmt: whoever was on the job on 3/13...needs a class in customer service.) The only nice gal was the one who initially checked us in. (Giving credit where it’s due.) We couldn’t wait for morning to arrive so we could get out of here!We will NEVER stay here or at any Red Roof Inn after this!

This had to be the worst room we had on our month long vacation through the U.S.A. The room was old, nasty, and had so much traffic noise that you could not sleep. Beds and mattresses were uncomfortable. Tub was old and grungy! Would not recommend unless you are going for a game at Baler and want a party room for a night. The worst!

Strong smoke smell in non-smoking room. beds less that average. It was ok just for a short night stay if the smoke wouldn't have been present. It is only a place to sleep with no real comforts. Seemed to be decently clean

The motel is close to I 35, Baylor Univ, The River Walk and Magnolia Market. The room was clean and comfy. It is not your High End Hotel but fine for the Price. The staff is friendly. However the Breakfast is a brown bag with orange juice,an orange and a danish.

Easily the worst experience I have had with a hotel. We had reservations at another hotel, but we came into town a day early and there were no vacancies where we had reservations. It was after 10:00 p.m. so we didn't want to stray too far. We found this place, checked in, and were prepared to get a quick night's sleep. When we got into our room, my wife pulled back the bed covers and noticed that the (fitted) sheet was all wrinkled - as if someone had been sleeping in the bed. A closer inspection revealed that there was quite a bit of hair on/in the sheets, as well as some spots that appeared to be dried blood. I went straight to the front desk and informed the clerk about the situation. He apologized and transferred us to another room. Upon entering this room, my wife went straight to the bed and pulled back the bed covers to ensure that the bedding was clean. The under side of the comforter had a large stain on it that was undeniably dried feces. My wife immediately called down to the front desk and demanded that the clerk come up and see for himself this disgusting situation. As soon as he walked into the room and saw the stain he apologized and stated that he would issue us a refund. Fortunately for us, we didn't unpack in either room so we were able to beat a hasty retreat. I totally understand that it wasn't this clerk's fault that the rooms were in this condition and I don't blame him. What is not acceptable is that there is no quality control in place to prevent something like this from happening. Whoever is in charge of "cleaning" these rooms should be terminated immediately. Whoever is in charge of the "housekeeping" crew needs to be evaluated for competency in management skills. I seldom write such negative reviews; I understand mistakes can happen from time to time. There is no excuse for anything like this happening. Negligence doesn't even begin to describe what is going on at this place. Filthy. Disgusting. Inexcusable.

Red Roof Inn is a nice clean inexpensive place to stay. It is less than a mile from the Silos but next to I-35. You can walk across the Brazos river bridge it is near. I would stay here again for sure. Waffle and continental breakfast.

This motel is very convenient to walk to and from McLane Stadium if you are staying overnight for a game. It is not a particularly nice place, but it is in a safe area, and they provide a very basic breakfast, including Texas-shapes waffles to please the kids.

My room was immaculate and the king bed was perfect. I cannot understand other reviews and their noise and cleanliness remarks. My only issue was that they should use more of thier exterior lighting. If it were brighter they would look better and get more guests. I'd stay here again for sure.

Clean room. Convenient location. Friendly staff. Nice brkfst. Pet friendly. Reasonably priced. No pool but there is a water park nearby plus a river walk, kyack rentals & cool food trucks very close. Enjoyed our stay here, will stay here again.
