We loved the balcony overlooking the main street in town.
We ordered a room with its own bathroom, so would recommend doing this especially if needing to use the facilities in the middle of the night. We also received a room next to the balcony that overlooks the town, and made this a unique experience to go outside in the later evening, kick back and relax before going to bed. It's an interesting hotel in that you can explore its various, historical rooms. One downside is that the stairs are very narrow, so try not to carry too much baggage. Also the doors tend to be creaky (although this could be an upside for some), so might wake up people in the room with the bathroom door. All-in-all, a great experience in the middle of a town dedicated to its Old-West history.
Weathered exterior hides a treasure trove of antiques. Clean, comfortable rooms offer a taste of the Old West. No breakfast but close by Star Restaurant is great option. Don't miss the Brewery Follies. A fun stopover.
The hotel embraces the Old West in decor and affiance. Note there is no air conditioning and the bed was uncomfortable.
Great to sit on the upstairs balcony overlooking the old town but on a sweltering night we could not open the window and had no option but to have the noisy air con on.
