Where do you eat?

It was hard to find, but the actual hotel is very clean, rooms much better than similar priced hotels. However, the restaurant was closed for all of August (surely the busiest month?) and there are no nearby restaurants without driving. Breakfast was fine, but not available till 8 am - surely too late for most travellers.

better than most inexpensive hotels

The room was larger than some other the other inexpensive French hotel chains we stayed at. The bathroom was nice. You need a car for this hotel. The town was located in the middle of the three chateaux that we wanted to go see. There were several supermarkets nearby.

In the middle of no-where

Reception was helpful, although there was very little English spoken. Lots of steps to climb as usual. Room was clean but very small, designed for smaller framed people. Your stuck in the middle of know where, reminded me of a truck stop in the middle of an industrial estate. Be very careful of the taxi drivers, they overcharge. Also not at all close to any form of public transport
