Lovely end to our holiday

Stayed here at the end of our holiday. We had to check out of our apartment the day before we flew home so stayed here for one night. 2 bed apartment was very spacious, clean, well kitted out and nice balcony overlooking the golf course. Pool was great and breakfast was fab. Gym was good too and handy free parking. Would loved to have stayed for longer. Only problem is that it's a bit further out from the nightlife at the marina. Still loved it though

The Residences apartments are good quality with large rooms and well equipped. We have stayed at the Victoria hotel before, but this was the first time in the Residences. The Residences are no longer associated with the hotel. The lack of a shuttle bus was our biggest disappointment as previously we got the shuttle into the marina and it adds €30 onto your nightly evening meal for taxis. There is a new Taverna Pizza restaurant just over the road which is very handy and we went there a couple of times. No local shops for groceries and it was 1.5km walk to the nearest supermarket. The pool was good and plenty of sun beds, but a bit chilly if you are a toe dipper! Overall it was very nice, but I think next time we would chose somewhere closer to the marina.

Enjoyable

Nice place a few km's from Vilamoura. Car hire is essential. Apartments are lovely but starting to show their age. Area is quiet - it's a few minutes drive to nearest shop. I enjoyed my visit and will stay again.
