Relaxing and more laid back area

Carmen was an amazing host! We arrived late and she met us at the front of the building and showed us around. Her and her mother were there every morning serving a delicious homemade breakfast and delicious Italian coffee. We took the ferry to Amalfi and Positano and it felt so nice to come back to Vietri Sul Mare where it was so much more laid back and chill. There were some lovely cafes and wine bars all around the place. We would definitely recommend this place.

Not bad

Pretty good over all couldn't get soap or towels when requested motorcycles till 2 am were terrible but not the hotels fault food around town was awesome so was breakfast view from room was great AC was on 75 at all times and controlled by host only fresh OJ in morning was good

Ambrosea è così bella!! I used to work for Citalia, a luxury Italian travel specialist & have not been back to the Amalfi Coast in 16 years! We planned a trip to stay in 2 parts of the coast & the last 3 nights of our stay we booked Ambrosea Deluxe Sea View suite (28th,29th and 30th May) for My Husband, my 7yo Daughter & myself. The location of Ambrosea BnB is right in the centre of the idyllic town of Vietri Sul Mare (the home of Amalfi Coast Ceramics) Vietri Sul Mare restful & the views are equally beautiful to the rest of the coast. Ambrosea is a boutique BnB run by the lovely host Carmen & assisted by her Mum. The ambience is perfect, airy, modern & artistic but also with high quality finishes in the bathroom & the furnishings. The artwork is fantastic adding glamour, & Carmen is the artiste! Artwork is everywhere & the view from this room is breathtaking with a lovely balcony to view the sea & the mountains it is the best way to start the day. Breakfast was lovely, freshly made & local, freshly squeezed orange juice & fresh coffee choices were fantastic & if you do want something extra it's worth asking Carmen because she was also a professional chef! There was so much space here & the traditional apartment feel added to the prettiness of it all. I have stayed in some of the best hotels in the Amalfi Coast & I can honestly say that if you want a local pretty room that gives stunning views, restful modern accommodation & a friendly host then choose Ambrosea! x

We stayed here for several days in May and had a great experience. The owners were fantastic and ensured we had everything we needed. Breakfast served daily was homemade and tasty!. Room was clean and comfortable! I definitely recommend!

Great place, great service

We had a wonderful stay here. The view from the room was spectacular. The breakfast was varied with bread, scrambled eggs, yoghurt and oranges to squeeze our own juice every morning. Carmen is a kind and welcoming host, always ready to help. The premises are newly renovated and kept bright and very clean. We can recommend AmbroSea to anyone looking for a nice and quiet stay at the Amalfi coast.

Easy access from the train station. The host lady was kind enough to contact me first and give directions depending on what I took to come there. Also, she was generous enough to let us check in earlier. Lovely B&B in an apartment building, neatly and beautifully renovated. Spacious room, beautiful view over the sea, but a bit of noise from neighborhood pubs at night. One inconvenient thing was the rule for changing towels in every 3 days. The area is seaside and wet towels didn't dry so fast in the room that it didn't feel fresh to use towels again and again. It would be better if guests could choose to ask for change of towels when in need.

What a great stay! Carmen is an exceptional host. We very much enjoyed our morning breakfast with the other guests. The room is clean and comfortable. The area is busy, but just a great experience. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. We will have treasured memories to keep.

This property was very well situated to everything. Vietri Sul Mare is a quieter town to stay in, away from the huge crowds of tourists in Amalfi, Positano. It was a nice haven at the end of a hot day. Carmen provides a great breakfast and helpful information. Would definitely recommend this propety.

Ambrosea was a well pointed and very comfortable place for us to stay for a few days as we explored Salerno. Carmen and family were so attentive and helpful with making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The property is clean( functional, thoughtfully decorated, and beautifully maintained. There are a number of stairs to climb from the outside entrance to the entrance of the B&B (with no elevator) so be mindful of that if traveling with older or disabled persons. The view from our room was absolutely stunning and will be one I think of often. It is near the main road in Vietri and some really good restaurants. Only downside was that the street noise can be a bit loud early in the morning and the only property grocery store was not 15-20 min walk away.

Beautifully presented accommodation

Ambrosea is situated in the heart of the town and is ideally situated for visiting the shops, bars and restaurants. Our room was beautifully presented with a “Juliet” balcony that provided a stunning sea view over the rooftops from its elevated position. The room was very spacious and benefited from a walk-in wardrobe. It was serviced each day and kept spotlessly clean. Our host was extremely pleasant and very helpful in arranging transport to our next destination. The continental-style breakfast was great with homemade cakes to die for. The only thing we felt the accommodation lacked was tea/coffee making facilities in the room. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at Ambrosea and would highly recommend it.

Fantastic B&B

We had a fantastic experience at AmbroSea. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean,with an amazing view. The host was charming and very helpful with transportation arrangements. The breakfast was delicious and served in a bright room with a great view. The location was perfect and an easy walk to restaurants. It is necessary to go up stairs to access the property, but unless that is a problem, AmbroSea is a great choice for Vietri, and Vietri is a charming little town as well.

Room with a great view

Carmen's apartment is centrally located in Vietri Sur Mare. It is a short walk to restaurants, cafes, bars and ceramic shops. The view from the apartment is breathtaking regardless of the time of day. There is parking nearby, it is relatively easy to get to when you know how. The apartment is modern, bright and roomy.

Great Host and Stunning Place!

We had the most wonderful time! Carmen was the BEST host ever, the location was perfect and the place was stunning. This had to be the niced B&B I have ever stayed at, for all of these reasons. We could not have asked for more and would not only HIGHLY recommend AmbroSea, but hope to return!!!
