Not much else available in Port Elliot!

Given the lack of other accommodation available in Port Elliot, the rate is rather high for a Youth Hostel. Room was a bit stuffy and had to keep the window open and the fan going to get rid of the musty smell. Very small ensuite and shower.

The Beach House was clean with all the amenities we needed eg kitchen, chill out spaces, balcony overlooking the beach. The host was lovely and very customer focused but it’s the ambiance of this lovely old building I love the most.

Absolutely clean/comforble; Stunning seaview!

See it for yourself why most of the reviews are saying this place is Excellent and Superb. Absolutely clean/comfortable bed&bedsheets. Location is perfect. Enjoy the view from the balcony. The only let-down are other guests who do not respect house rules of quiet time at 10pm - 8am; shower on the other room can be heard on the other room so it's important guests should abide by the rules to not disturb others during sleeptime. This factor is not under the management control as they've done their part clearly stating the house rules even upon check-in. The host is so kind to show me each part of the hostel. As a first-timer in a hostel, this place totally deserves its exceptional spot. Will stay again in the future.
