The Ark Family Beach House, WIFI, Netflix

Located just across from the Knights Beach cliff top walk that takes you to Horseshoe Bay, this is the perfect family beach escape where you can leave the car parked and walk to the Port Elliot Bakery, to a multitude of cafes or ride your bike to Middleton and Goolwa or back the other way to Victor Harbor. All bed linen and towels are included. Basic bathroom and kitchen pantry supplies are there for you too.
Just arrive, unpack and relax.

The house itself offers four bedrooms in all and 3 bathrooms.
The fourth bedroom is a self sufficient studio out the back which is ideal for the grandparents or the teenager wanting their own space. It’s available for anyone booking for 6 guests or more. If you have five guests or less and require the use of that space, you are welcome to pay an additional $40 per night for the use of that room.
The beautiful open plan living, dining and kitchen downstairs offers a slow combustion wood heater for cosy winter nights in and a fully equipped kitchen with all you could need to cook up a storm and make a morning cuppa with the coffee pod machine and pods included.
Out the back you’ll find brilliant entertaining spaces and a veggie and herb garden you can help yourselves to.
This property has space for the whole family to be together or separate spaces for quiet time as well.
There is fast Wifi and Netflix included so you can bring the family and work from home if you need to check in at the office while on holiday or just catch up on your favourite movies.
Please note that this house is very strictly NO SMOKING or vaping anywhere at the property. Do not book this house if you or anyone in your group, are smokers.
Strictly no parties. Fines will apply for non compliance.
No schoolies. This is a house for families and responsible adults. Please do not attempt to book this house if you are aged under 25.
Sorry this property is not suitable for young children under 5 yrs of age due to stairs with no stair gate and internal balcony which was built in the 80s and railing does not meet current young child safety code.
One well behaved non shedding dog may be allowed on holiday with you. Please let us know. No puppies under 1yr old. A $75 pet fee will apply.
*Please note: A 50% deposit is required upon booking confirmation, with the remaining balance due 7 days before your stay. Additionally, a pre-check-in form must be completed before arrival, which includes submitting a valid ID, a selfie, and agreeing to our terms and conditions.

Via locked box at the property. Entry info will be sent on the morning of arrival day.

Please treat the our home as if it were your own. Kindly leave the property in a tidy condition upon departure. Unexpected additional cleaning cost will be forwarded to you.
$200AUD cleaning/deodorising fee charged if guest is found to have been smoking in the property.

CHECK OUT: Check out strictly at 10AM. Additional charges will be incurred for our cleaners time if not vacant upon their arrival unless otherwise agreed upon by our tea.

LOST KEYS/LOCKOUTS: Please keep the property key with you all the time during your stay. Lost key/emergency key delivery charges will be $180AUD plus key replacement fee or cost of a locksmith.

LOST PROPERTY: For any items left behind - the host will hold the item for a maximum of 30 days from check-out date after which time they will be considered abandoned and disposed of or donated. During the 30 day collection period, collection can be arranged by way of the guest providing a prepaid postage bag to a supplied address or the item can be collected in person at an agreed time and location.
