This Hotel is 20 mins walk from train/bus station. The hotel is behind McDonalds so use that as your marker to find it. The next street along has a PAM supermarket - great for drinks & snacks. Note there is one plug socket in bedroom you can use and one in the bathroom. Hotel is clean and a great base for exploring. Staff friendly and helpful. Didn’t know about resort tax until we were checking out (e9.00 per room - we stayed 3 nights). We did the sightseeing bus to get our bearings for Verona which I would recommend. We caught public bus to Sirmione Lake Garda for e7.20 return one day (took Just over an hour and it runs hourly). Buy ticket from bus station itself for best deal. We also caught slow train to Venice for the day e18.10 return (takes 1.5 hours and it’s an hourly service). In Venice we caught Water Bus for e7.50 one way along Grand Canal, got off at St Marks Square and then strolled across Venice back to the train station - lovely. Download map of Venice before you go to save e3.00 on price of map. We found a lovely cafe deep in heart of Venice which was v reasonable. Buy train ticket from main information office in lobby of train station (ask for cheapest ticket option). Restaurants in Verona were disappointing. Do some research on where you would like to eat.

This is a nice hotel in the city centre only a few steps away from Piazza Bra and the Arena. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and breakfast is okay. I‘ll definitely return for my next trip to Verona.

Very clean and comfortable hotel within easy reach of the Arena and lots of restaurants. 20 minutes walk to train and bus station. Very helpful staff and reception 24 hour and English spoken. Breakfast is continental but very nice and good choice.

Very happy that I have chosen this hotel for our weekend stay in Verona. Nice staff always willing to help, clean room, comfortable bed and good breakfast. What else would you need? Would definitely recommend and would stay again

The hotel is dirty smells of mould and the staff is rude. Obvuously the hitel us a tourust trao relying in bo repeat business. Lication is nice but definitely not worth it. Avoid as there are much better places in Verona.

This hotel is an absolute gem! It's tucked away down a little side street and less than 5 minutes walk from the old city walls. The Arena and Piazza Bra are about 7 minutes from the hotel and the train/bus station is a 10-15 minute walk in the opposite direction, which made it perfectly situated for all our needs. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful and happily printed out a list of local eateries - restaurants, trattorias, osterias and pizzerias and marked them on a local map too. Our double room was lovely with the most enormous and super comfortable bed and the buffet breakfast provided everything that you need to set you up for a day's sightseeing. The Hotel San Luca gets a huge bravo from us - it was our base to explore not only Verona but also Sirmione on Lake Garda and Venice too. All easily accessible using public transport. If we are lucky enough to return to Verona, (specifically to see an opera at the Arena) then we would definitely stay at the San Luca again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Hotel San Luca is a perfect place to stay when visiting Verona. We stayed for 4 nights and chose the hotel based on trip advisor reviews. We arrived at around 10.30am so the room wasn't ready but we were able to check in and leave our luggage. When we went back in the afternoon our luggage had been moved to the room for us. We booked a "small double room" which was plenty big enough with an enormous bed. The room and en suite were both sparkling clean and well decorated looking brand new. There was a desk, wardrobe unit with shelves and 4 hangers, plus a mini bar fridge and a safe. Each side of the bed there was a bedside table and a power socket. The room also had a tv and air conditioning. The breakfast was fantastic and the lady in the breakfast room was so lovely, she works so hard and makes you a gorgeous fresh coffee! All of the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the Arena and Piazza Bra and is perfectly situated for walking to all of the sites. There is a supermarket on the next street over and hundreds of amazing restaurants within less than 30 minutes walk. It's so close to everything yet tucked away from a main road so you don't get the noise from the streets even with the window open at night. The only think I missed was having a kettle in the room to make a bit drink with but there are plenty of other options. We would 100% recommend this hotel.

Me and my boyfriend went on a long weekend for his birthday so we booked a room in the hotel for 3 nights. Staff at reception were extremely helpful, giving us additional information on what is the best way to go to Lake Garda. We had breakfast included- nothing special, but everything was enough and yummy. The lady that was serving the breakfast was really friendly and nice! Every morning we were asked what coffee we would like so she was doing it on a separate coffee machine. Coffee was amazing for the people that can appreciate a good espresso. The only downside is the view of the room, which cannot really be described as a view as it is not facing anything really and makes the room dark. But other than that room was cleaned every day and it was spacious enough. I would recommend if you want good value for money as the location is good as well and is pretty close to everything in city centre. Would come back!

This hotel is located very well. It's only 5 minutes from Arena, 10 from Casa di Jiulietta, there are many nice restaurants around. I booked single room but hotel provided small double room with huge bed. The room was very nice and clean and quiet. The staff was super welcoming and friendly.

Located just outside the walls of the old city off Via Porta Nuova, just a few steps from Piazza Bra and the Arena, this centrally located hotel is an ideal place from which to explore Verona. The hotel is immaculately maintained. Rooms are very comfortable with updated bedding. The breakfast buffet is excellent, and the front desk is staffed with professionals who do their best to ensure you enjoy your stay. Would definitely recommend and return.
