The hotel is well located, outside the city, with a close by bus stop, bringing you straight to the Castelvecchio where you can start your tourist trip. Hotel offers all you need for a WE stay at a good rate. Breakfast buffet is more than sufficient and was in the price included. The four star category is overrated although the rooms and toilet accommodations were adequate.
We stayed here for 1 night, the hotel was really quiet I don't think we saw any other guests while we stayed, It is quite a walk from town, but it only cost 10 Euros in a taxi so not to bad. The rooms itself was an ok size and clean. We used the 'gym' while we stayed, I use that term loosely as it was basically a treadmill, 4 weights and a mat. We did get free parking though so that was a plus. This was a quick stop off for us, I wouldn't recommend staying longer than 1 night.
This hotel is maybe not four star, but nowhere near as bad as some of the views would have you believe. It's a five minute bus ride from the centre, but the stop is right outside, and the service is frequent. The surrounding area is fine to walk around at night, there is a great neighbourhood bar within a minutes walk. Never felt threatened at all walking around. Hotel is clean comfortable, and the usual buffet breakfast. Reception staff were friendly, and the bar is fine. Would definitely stay again.
This is a very nice hotel to stay in. Everything is very clean, rooms are spacious and hotel staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is great. A large variety of dishes are found that can please every taste. Not very close to the city center but a good choice for visiting Verona!
We stayed for the weekend and we're happy with the room and other facilities. It was a fair walk into the centre and first part wasn't particularly pleasant. Breakfast time was chaotic. The staff constantly stocked up the croissants, cakes etc but the hot food wasn't. If you asked for anything you got barked at and one morning we watched 6 staff set a table for 4 people and they still forgot the condiments. Absolutely no organisation whatsoever. Because of that we wouldn't return here
This hotel is not worthy of having four stars. Stayed here as a couple with my partner and on the day of arrival we had to wait 5-6 hours until our check in, their was no mention of check in times or check out times when you do book with this hotel. The room they offered to keep our luggage in was in no way secure, had no lock and anyone could go in it. When we did check in we found that a large bed is just two beds put together with two separate mattresses creating an awkward and uncomfortable gap in the middle. The area of the hotel is not the greatest, there are large bins right outside the hotel which are always overfilled. You would not want to walk around in this area. The walk is at least 30 minutes to the centre though there are busses. The services the hotel provides aren't the best. On two of the nights we wanted to eat at the restaurant which was apparently open daily from half 7 to 10pm we were told it was closed with no explanation to why and no alternative places given. The breakfast in the morning was okay, a lot of the times the food was gone and not being replaced, the staff were hardly seen around. Feels as this hotel was not well staffed. The free internet is very hit and miss, we weren't counting on it working and it rarely worked. I would not recommend this hotel and would not come here again. Having stayed at an actual 4 star hotel this is not even close to being classed as 4 star.
The room plus free wifi was fine, so was the building and breakfast , these are the only good things we can say about Hotel Fiera. One afternoon we could not find anybody in reception so we went to the bar, again nobody to help us. Lacking staff, I presume.. We wont go there again and would rather pay more for better service and a venue closer to the centre of Verona
The hotel Was 2 km fr.o.m. The city, The walking area to The town Was not The best (especially during during The evening / night), ok hotel, The wi-fi Was not working at all (either in The room or lobby), friendly staff, clean room, good parking spaces.
Not sure how this hotel wrangled itself a four-star classification. A tipoff of what was to come was provided by the row of large rubbish bins along the front of the property. There was no access to the Internet in our room, so a lot of time was wasted trying to convince the unhelpful staff that it was their router and not the users who were at fault. I finally had to ask hotels.com for assistance, before we were moved to a musty room with access. Of the 200 or so tv channels, not one was in English. It seems that the advertised "premium channels" were only available somewhere in the lobby. Even hot water was problematic; on occasion I simply gave up running the tap, and had to settle for warmish water. For any number of reasons, I would strongly advise against this crumby hotel.
U won't complain about the room or bathroom, basic, clean and comfy. Located in a shady industrial zone next to a lidl however the bus is right outside and u r only a short hop to the town centre or station. Hotel is nice, calm and staff helpful Avoid the breakfasts. Coffee was rotten, like river water. Always seemed to need refilled, seen an elderly german lady picking up the dispenser and shaking it furiously. Perhaps this reinvigorated the flavour or maybe there was a prize inside. Otherwise the pastries were okay but limited choice especially fruits etc. Given the breakfast experience, I didn't try the dinner.
