Secluded 2 bedroom, 2 bath beach cottage with private ocean beach access and nestled among the oaks in Summerplace, located on peaceful Orchid Island. A short block and a half walk (8 houses) along a seashell road to private deeded beach access. In close proximity to historic Jungle Trail, Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge, Vero Beach shopping and dining district and Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. The area offers excellent surfing, kayaking, and fishing all around.

Fully remodeled, 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage with wood floors throughout and pecky cypress walls and ceilings. Outdoor living areas include 2 covered porches and a large open back deck. Large master bedroom with private bathroom, walk in closet, and a king size bed. Second bedroom features a queen size bed and private bathroom. There are two full size sofa beds located in the living room and family room. The dining room features a large, custom built-in banquette that seats up to 10 people. The new open floor plan kitchen overlooks the Family room, which includes a seating area surrounding the fireplace. Living room hosts comfortable seating around a 50” wall mounted flat screen TV. Outdoor shower.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Guests can expect to find a Smart TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a sofa bed.

Perfect Old FLA Retreat Steps from Beach

We loved the community that had classic old FLA cottages. It felt like you were nestled in a tropical jungle. The cottage was a delight with plenty of space for a couple or family. We loved sitting on the front porch or grilling in the back. The host was very helpful with any issues and quick to respond. The property is across the road from the beach and an easy walk. Once on the beach, you can walk for miles either direction. Many nature preserves are nearby for those that love to see the birds that congregate here. We especially loved watching the wood storks, skimmers and roseate spoonbills. The area did not feel as crowded as the gulf side which we loved. We found some great restaurants and a wonderful theater too in the area. We hope to return one day.
