Maybe it was just the room I was in, but it definitely needs some renovation work. The toilet in the bathroom sometimes ran constantly and wouldn’t flush; there was an old and rusted bathtub with an old and tired fabric shower curtain instead of a modern shower enclosure; there were only two washcloths in the bathroom; there was no coffee maker or microwave in the room. Other than that, it was ok. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the room seemed clean. Hence, the 4-star review.

The room was fine other than no bath lotion and no coffee maker provided. However, the hotel staff has to improve their customer care. I was riding my knee scooter due to recent surgery and when we checked in, we were given a room farthest away on our floor. Also, my wife was made to carry a 48 quart cooler when the desk clerk could have suggested using a cart that was not visible to her. Lastly, there were several doorways that had high heights to maneuver over on my scooter.

I chose a room directly overlooking the marina for a direct view of the marina from my balcony. Couteous staff and I very much enjoyed my stay. Charters right outside for anyone looking to do a little fishing; although I did not follow suit (this time). Brought my bicycle with me and found ample scenic places to ride. There's a local coffee shop near by that is certainly in biking/walking distance. (Although, I purchased one of their green drinks instead.) Or dine at the Pirate's Cove very own restaurant. For nature lovers, such as my self, who enjoy the outdoors and salt-water, Port Salerno is a nice place to visit and hope to revisit at some point; as there was much left to discover and do...and if I do, The Pirate's Cove Resort & Marina is where I will book my stay. 5 STARS.

Staff completely unhelpful. Internet password provided did not work. There was a “resort” fee for nothing. We were there one night, checked in around 5pm and checked out at 6:30am. We never saw another hotel guest. However, there was lots of noise coming from the room next door. When the occupancy is so low, why not give people some space! We asked the front desk manager for directions to a restaurant that was literally minutes away. He simply said he had never heard of the place. We also asked for directions to the local airport. He was also not able to help. Turns out the airport was a 6 minute drive. Just a total lack of caring and no understanding of CUSTOMER SERVICE! One and done!

What a great little spot to stay while in the Stuart area! Super quiet, safe and a beautiful view of the harbor. Check in was fast and the manager Samantha was so pleasant and hospitable to deal with. Rooms have been recently renovated along with the bathrooms which were nice. The bedspread could use an update but I am sure they are getting to it with all the other updates. While I did not eat at the property - The restaurant was busy so I am sure that is a sign that the food was good. I highly reccomend staying at this hotel and I will be for sure next time I am in the area.
