Kept up all night by person in next room who was all drugged up, repeatedly notified front desk who did nothing. On second night had to call police because of strange behavior of person, after front desk refused. Police arrested man for outstanding warrants and behavior.
We stayed at the Knights Inn on Route 1 in Vero Beach last night. It was absolutely the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. I have my suitcase airing outside to try and remove the smell it picked up from the room. I am absolutely disgusted. The room stank, it was in total disrepair, the ceiling was coming down over the bed, there was no blanket, the towels were few and minuscule, screen in the window was broken and the AC was temperamental. Yuk!!!!!
This was a very good value - using the mystery hotel rate on expedia, 2*. compared to other prices for the area, so you take your chances in those instances. I was travelling alone and was bachelor to mid-life, so I'm very tolerant, LOL - I can't/don't take these 2* risks when travelling with my wife! room was clean but had a smell on arrival. of course the brain is very 'smart' and eventually stops 'caring' about that signal from nose (ie. you forget about it, adjust as it were). "breakfast" was very misleading. one muffin was produced when I asked about it (don't think would have been on counter otherwise). ... couldn't even get into lobby to almost 0800 for coffee.
I stayed here after the hurricane and they were very kind. It was much appreciated that they gave me a place to stay, a great rate, and were friendly. This is an economical motel and they are a great one. Thank you!
I have booked a hotelroom at Knights Inn. Even mentioning that I will arrive somehow morning with no specific naming of time. I arrived there shortly before noon. They refused to give me a room until 3 pm. They were not even in the mood to do something. I still have on mind the reply on the friendly question How are you... I got a very dismotivated na ok... which shows me which motivation is in the hotel. No no way to work with them. They should use their rooms for themselves and leave businesspeople alone, because they will not have a stay over there.
Room seemed clean but that's about it. As soon as we walked in we could smell something foul. There was a huge wet spot in the corner of the room. No vent in the bathroom so we left the door open. The window in the bathroom let a lot of light in because the blinds were broken. We will pay more next time for a better hotel.
Room is Okay and breakfast sucks.TV doesn't work and Wifi is Okay. Room is very small and shower accommodates only one person (Its small). Prefer the other knights inn in vero beach.Linens are not acceptable. Near to Korean food and other fast food restaurants.Counter person asks for extra payments if you mentioned one person at the time of booking.Loud traffic.Parking is available.
Unless you're on a shoestring budget and it's either this motel or sleeping under 17th Street Bridge, really, it's not worth it. Pay a little bit more, and stay in a place that is less depressing. When I arrived, they stuck me in a room that felt like a prison cell (room 17), the tiled floor was greasy, and there was a pungent smell of cigarettes. I asked to be moved, and they claimed they were fully booked. Later, it became apparent that this was a lie. The motel was practically empty, and when I couldn't even get a wifi signal, I asked to be moved again. Again they refused, but changed their minds when I started asking for my money back. Breakfast is just coffee and a muffin, and be prepared for the reception/breakfast area reeking of curry - even at 8am. Also, be prepared for noisy rednecks impeding your sleep.
Visiting with family for state softball game and the place is terrible. Shower has mold in it. Beds had cigarette Burns in it and bugs. Really tiny. Floor felt like it was greasy and stuff crawling around. Definitely never coming back here.
lets start with i asked for a no smoking room and i didnt get it, the rooms are tinny, you barely have room to walk. the shower is bigger than the room. the breackfast included is coffe and a muffin, wich after the second day the lady started hidding the muffins from me. one day i came back to the room and someone ate my food. they never changed the sheets. one day i came back to my room and the coffe machine was removed from my room. for the same money you get a room in the same company in vero beach west and get 3 times the space and a pool and nice peopl, this place had no housekeeping !!! absolutly unacceptable.
