Beautiful hotel and staff , I found the pool area a little small and was not happy when we had to give up our lounge chairs on the beach . There was a wedding and we had to give up our chairs on a beautiful day , the pool was packed so no seats. For almost $600 a night I was not happy about leaving the beach .

Absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay. Took my morning walks, enjoyed a delicious breakfast, swan in the gorgeous pool while having lunch. Lots of little shops around. The staff was so attentive and accommodating. This beautiful resort is a hidden gem. Will definitely return!

HOTEL LOOKS GREAT ONLINE, UNFORTUNATLY THE FOOD IS OVER PRICED AND IS NOT GOOD AT ALL. I HAD TO REQUEST STAFF TO CLEANN MY ROOM LITERALLY 3 TIMES. EMPLOYEES ARE VERY NICE AND ACT PROFESSIONALLY. I WAS CHARGED FOR A MOVIE I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR. SPENT OVER $5K AND BAR TENDER REFUSED TO SERVE MY GIRLFRIEND BECAUSE SHE 2 DRINKS. TOLD THE WAITER WHEN WE SAT DOWN TO HAVE DINER NOT TO SERVE US. The beachfront location is beautiful with a very nice beach. The hotel was very nice, but what made it outstanding was the staff. Everyone there was just so very nice and especially Cameron at the front desk was exceptional! Their walls could be a little more soundproof. And some of their prices for drink and food were very expensive.

The room and balcony were lovely, with beautiful decor and stunning ocean views. Being right on the beach was a huge plus, and the breakfast service at Wave was excellent. Also appreciated the well-maintained hot tub, the Cuban food options on the menu, and the complimentary boogie boards, paddle boards, and kayaks for hotel guests. If the experience had ended there, it would have been a 5-star stay. A few negatives brought it down: • The overpowering incense in the lobby was disgusting and unnecessary. Yuck! • The room layout was inconvenient, with an outlet only on one side of the bed. • The in-room coffee was low-quality and came with Coffee Mate creamer—disappointing for a hotel that markets itself as upscale. A Nespresso machine and a selection of quality teas would have been more fitting. • Our dinner server at the Wave bar was disengaged and inattentive. A few tables were dirty, including ours, but she wiped it after we asked. • The Jacuzzi’s bubble function didn’t work, which took away from the experience. • A sign in the room encouraged electronic tipping. I would have been more inclined to tip without the pressure. This hotel has the potential to be truly exceptional, but these small yet frustrating missteps took away from the overall experience.

Very cute hotel. Basic but clean and very kind staff. There are multiple planters burning incense throughout the lobby. It literally chokes you and burns your eyes. We ate breakfast in the restaurant next to the lobby and I couldn’t stop coughing from the overwhelming stench or taste my food. I don’t know who’s idea this is but it ruined our stay outside of our room or the beach.

Poor management, with inability to keep up with occupants during busy times, aka holidays. Took 2 h to get in rm dining. Rooms with outdated AC/noise. The water facets poorly regulate water, sinks don’t drain well, mini fridges are leaking. The walls are very thin and if not on top floor, dragging chairs and tables at 5 am by fellow Neighbours are very disturbing. Rm service don’t come in until late in the day. The hotel is in need for upgrades. Besides the view if one manages to book the rm with one, the hotel is far from 4stars. It is at 2 at best. The restaurant is hard to get seating at. The menu is limited. The pool area had dirt dug out for some repairs this am. Not 5 k stay for 4 nights for sure.
