Nice and convenient. Friendly staff and close to food and drinks

We were staying for 12 days for a funeral. Needed the kitchenette/chose this hotel because of free breakfast and kitchenette. Night shift attendant was wonderful and as helpful as she could be during afterhours. No one else cared. The first room: heater broken, light burnt out above the desk, most of the electric receptacles didn't work so the hair dryer didn't work. One of the attendants tried to loan me his mother's hair dryer. (Major infraction of the law.) It wasn't the blow dryer that was broken. The shower curtain rod was falling off the wall, wouldn't stay closed, water everywhere. Moved to second room about 2 hrs later: The fridge didn't work. Shower curtain rod also broken. Wanted to use hide-a-bed. It was both broken and FILTHY. Moved to 3rd room about an hour later. Thankfully, this one didn't have most of the other probs, but the hideabed was still broken and still dirty. Couldn't use it. Continental breakfast: hard-boiled eggs were sitting in dirty water in their bowl. Only 2 cereals. Only 2 bananas or NONE some mornings, no other fruit. No oil for wafflemaker so they burned. Sometimes no milk in the milk dispenser. No hot chocolate available. Only one flavor of instant oatmeal or yogurt. Only a few dried out bagels, one or two pieces of dry bread, a few dried out muffins. Orange juice watered down to no flavor. No napkins for the last 3 days. No one ever wiped off the tables after we used them. On 1/1/17 maid didn't show up, no service/towels for 2 days.

I found the deal from the hotel. I wasn't sure how it would be. Great staff to help with anything. The room was clean and nice. Breakfast was ok. I was near the end of the time so maybe selection is better for early risers. Overall nice hotel and location.

I had requested a non-smoking room. the room I was assigned was definitely a smoking room. When I returned to the desk to request another room, I was told there were no more single bed rooms, and all they had was a double bed room and it would cost me another $25 plus tax. Since I wasn't about to stay in a room where there had been smoke , I paid the additional money. I intend to inform the booking web site and corporate and try to get my additional money back.

Hotel is fairly new, clean and staff was friendly. Room was rather small although it adequately met our needs for a rest stop during our trip.

This was my first stay at a Microtel. I thought that the bed was very comfortable - nice sheets and soft pillows. The regular rooms are super tiny. There was just enough space to walk around the bed and that's it. The major problem I had with the establishment was the amount of bugs I encountered. The continental breakfast has gnats in the juice maker, bananas, and muffins. I had lifted a banana out of the bowl and a whole swarm took flight. The same thing happened after I tried to get apple juice out of the machine. There were other beetle looking insects on the ground near the breakfast. I also found a couple of the same beetle like bugs in the room. The Microtel was comfortable, but there were too many bugs. I will not be staying here again.

room was really small but nice storage

I was hoping to have the amenities like an in-room coffee maker and a refrigerator (we had neither). The room was really small and cramped. The location leaves a lot to be desired. You can't get to it if you are going south on Hwy 66, only if you are going north. In addition the one entrance they have is not well marked - it is just a little narrow road next to the Microtel sign and way down on the bottom is a small arrow pointing toward the hotel. The breakfast was nice and the beds were great -got a lot of good sleep, although our room was downstairs and I would awaken when someone came in the back door as it would slam and make a loud noise. The staff was friendly. No restaurants real close by tho.

The location of the motel, could not be better. My sister inlaw, lives two blocks away. We visit offften. And we plan to stay again. The room was clean, but very small. Check in, was fast, and pleasent.
