I really like the room, it was clean and comfortable. Staff crew was nice. WiFi was really bad and the room was hot.

Horrible experience in our recent stay. Our hotel room, while spacious, was infested with bugs. Upon checking in to our room, we immediately found flies, mosquitoes, and house millipedes crawling in the room. We killed ~10 bugs in the first 30 min alone. In addition to the bug infestation, the wash closet had a horrible smell (smelled like sewage), and the water from the sink faucet smelled like sulfur. The glass wall of the bathtub did not sit flush against the rim of the tub, so when you took a shower water got out all over the floor. We notified the front desk of the problems, and all they gave us was plug in mosquito repellent (did nothing for the smell). The location was OK, but was a long walk from P. Roma with baggage. Thank goodness we were only staying in the hotel for 1 night. Also, be warned that this hotel markets itself as a "4 star" hotel, so the tourist tax is $4.50/person/night (very unclear how they are able to bill themselves as such!).

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very nice. The hotel hosts some special excursions and other special opportunities. Be sure and check these out when you check in. The hotel breakfast is €9 but good in Venice is expensive so this is not a bad price. The a/c wasn't the best but there are windows that can be opened, just beware of the mosquitos. Overall a nice, clean and comfortable hotel. It is close to the vaporetta stop Alvise.

To sum it up, Great location, modern lobby area, dated rooms, but the staff was great . Especially Erica !

It is located outside the tourist circuit, but it is possible to walk to points of interest in a short time. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The room was spacious, clean and had a simple but nice decor. The only problem I noticed was that we could hear the noises from the adjoining rooms. But overall I liked it and for what I can see in Venice is a good option.

It doesn't look like a hotel from outside, but it is nice inside. The breakfast included was superb!

Great Location for the price. Walking distance to everything. Great service. Good Bar.

A bit far from San Marco but perfect for a weekend near the Jewish Ghetto. Quiet neighberhood a away from the hustle and very relaxing. Rooms are clean but a bit dated, staff was very kind and willing to help.

although some have said that this is "off the beaten path", i wouldn't ever want to stay any closer to the hustle and bustle of stuff in venice. It's a very short walk to all of the shopping, bars, people, etc in venice and this is a GREAT value - good staff, HUGE delicious breakfast, soooo close to the public water taxi shuttle that takes you to other islands and the airport - I will DEF recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Very nice hotel. I would recommend it to friends. It is located at a very nice and quiet place.

This is a beautiful little hotel that has all the amenities of an upscale hotel on the inside, but is non-descript on the outside. For the price, it is an awesome value.I challenge anyone to find better. It is located in a converted monastery, off of the main traffic paths in Venice. I had to use my phone gps to find my way to and from the hotel, but I had to do that for every place I wanted to go in Venice, else I would still be lost on some small canal. The hotel was very clean and had a nice balance of modern and rustic decor. I can't say enough good things about the staff who were awesome with recommendations for restaurants and how to use the water bus system. We had an awesome stay in Venice, in large part due to the hotel staff. Would stay here again without hesitation if I ever get the chance to come back to Venice. I wish all my hotels stays were as nice. 1/4 star deduction from 5 stars only because of the location.

Great hotel if you are shabbos observant. Less than five minute walk to Chabad and a drop over five to Gam Gam. The staff is very helpful with all thing pertaining to shabbos, including; opening the electronic door , providing a manual key to the room, and dismantling an electric eye/bulb in front of your room door.

After travelling Europe for 2 months, found this motel to be a disappointment. Foyer and courtyard were lovely. Room provided was the at the very end of the motel. Dingy and old. Internet access in room is impossible and expensive. However free wifi is available in foyer. Overpriced and a long trek from the railway station and everything else.

Hotel was comfortable and clean but was a 45 minute walk to San Marco Square. You can take a water taxi for 80 Euros or walk 15 minutes to Water Bus and then ride 25 minutes. Good local restaurants and bars near the hotel but it is probably a 3 star.

This is a nice hotel, nice room, bathroom and breakfast is amazing. Well, was very hard to get there, we got a lost, nobody knew this hotel.

Wonderful, roomy, well appointment room and a quite haven from the throngs in Venice.

The Eurostars Residenza Cannaregio Hotel is a converted monastery in the Cannaregio district of Venice. The rooms are larger than most in Venice and the location is quieter! It is not too difficult to walk to, however, schlepping luggage across the bridges can present a bit of a challenge. The hotel is clean, and very modern. The staff were professional and courteous. Nicely situated near the San Alise vaporetto stop, it is easy to get on the vaporetto for Plaza San Marco or Murano. Also very close to the historic Jewish Ghetto (don't think of ghetto in the common vernacular) where we found the cleanest and cheapest place for our morning brioche and cappuccino and fresh squeezed orange juice @ Majer Restaurant. I think it may be the only place in all of Venice you can get a cappuccino or only 1 euro! The vaporettos are the easiest and least expensive way to get around, but only allow one piece of baggage apiece, although I am not sure how strictly they enforce this. The hotel did provide free WiFi in the lobby, which was nice. Breakfast was not included with our reservation, but was available at 12 Euro apiece. For 8 E, we both ate at Majer. Internet in the room was available, for an extra fee. The only thing I wish the hotel made available was a lower rate on the luggage pick up and drop off, or sharing of water taxi or something of that sort. As I mentioned, it is fairly easy to get to and many bridges shorter than many hotels, I am sure. But getting across even 4 bridges with luggage is a challenge.

Nice hotel in Venice, just a bit far away from the Center.

Since this hotel is in a residential area it took a few attempts to get directions there. You can reach the hotel via public water bus or private water taxi. Once there you'll have to eat at the hotel's restaurant or take a water taxi elsewhere. There's not much to speak of in the area. If you're looking to be in a lively place this is not the location for you. The hotel is very clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Our room had wi-fi & a refrigerator which was nice. Be sure to include breakfast with your stay.
