Comfortable well equipped house in beautiful area. Excellent for hikers.

The house lies in the hills a few kilometers above Vega de San Mateo, a pleasant village with grocery stores and restaurants. Walk a few kilometers further up the hill to a varied landscape of cacti and also pine forests on the side of a deep gorge. From there, it is a day hike to Roque Nublo. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Maria kept apologizing about her English, but it was very good and communication was not a problem. They run a small grocery store next door where you can buy very nice fruit as well as other groceries. The house is clean. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals at home. The large living room has a high ceiling and Spanish TV. The beds (double bed in the master bedroom, two single beds in the second bedroom and two more in the loft) are comfortable. Electric heaters keep the house warm on cool evenings.We very much enjoyed our stay in this house.

Wir waren zu viert 5 Nächte und sind hoch zufrieden. Das Haus liegt in den Bergen, ist sehr ruhig und bietet einen wunderschönen weiten Blick an. Es war alles da was man braucht. Die Vermieter sind nette und entspannte Leute und haben uns hilfreiche Tipps für Unternehmungen gegeben.
