located in the entrance of the old part of town, close to the train station, this hotel is a gem! the room was large and clean. the staff was helpful and hospitable. the street below is full of great places for dinner or a drink. Thank you for a great stay

Woke up during the night to biting feeling: many bugs in the bed, many bugs in the other 2 beds too after I woke up my friends. Front desk relocated us to another room in the middle of the night: I showered, but couldn't sleep: very creeped out and scared that my belongings were infested or that I still had them on me..... I have pics and videos : awful.....

Just a very short walk from the train station, the Bristol Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of all of the attractions in Avignon. The staff is very nice and helpful and I found the breakfast bar to be most excellent. The rooms are quite spacious (especially by European standards) with excellent bathrooms. The Wifi, however, could use some improvement.

We were looking for accommodation in Avignon. People in Avignon are fantastic and there are lots of great places to stay, but the lovely Sophie greeted us at the front desk of the Bristol hotel, was warm and helpful and offered to show us a couple of available rooms. We did look at another very nice hotel but chose to go the Bristol after Sophie’s introduction and seeing the rooms, and we are very happy we did. Every member of staff we met was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet. The location of the hotel is very good and the price was very reasonable. We would stay again in a heartbeat and wholeheartedly recommend the hotel and the team.

We stayed in Avignon for a few days and found this hotel to be well run, pleasant and in a really convenient location. It is only about five minutes from the train station and on the main road leading to the most significant attractions, such as the Palce of the Popes and the famous bridge. The rooms were clean, the breakfast good and the bar very satisfactory. The staff spoke good English and were very friendly.

room was adequate but it soon became apparent it was infested with mosquitoes, being close to the river. Take care if you have a room at the back of the hotel, not all room are ensuite and the bathrooms can be on different floors. an aqequate cheap hotel if no where else is available , but you are better off elsewhere

The Bristol is located within the Avignon walls but very close to the gate opposite the station, so access/egress was easy (in spite of the roadworks for the new tram system) but everything in the town was within walking distance. Rooms and amenities were fine and the staff extremely helpful (in both French and English!). Breakfast was to a very high standard with both hot and cold options kept well stocked throughout the generous breakfast period. We would certainly book again when re-visiting Avignon,

Nice hotel situated near the city center. It has an underground parking which you must reserve prior to your arrival. Rooms were clean and confortable. The breakfast was standard. They have a good selection of local wines that you can buy from the lobby. Overall good value for the money.

We were travelling through this area with some friends and stayed overnight. The hotel staff are very friendly and the Bristol is ideally located for a walk around the town and visiting the bridge. The lack of restaurant is no problem as you are only a few minutes walk away from a wide choice of places to eat. Car parking is easy as they operate a very efficient valet parking service. Why only four stars, well I am very hard to please !!

I spent 6 nights here on my own in a twin room overlooking the main road. It was comfortable and clean. The ensuite bathroom is huge and also has a window but there is no shower curtain or hook to hold the shower head high so I regularly soaked the floor. No individual toiletries except soap and a large dispenser of shampoo/shower gel. Towels changed daily. Breakfasts good with lovely range of bread. Staff helpful and friendly with good English. Conveniently located about 300m from the station
