Above expectations

Liked the look of these apartments, but after reading various reviews was very open as what to expect. Was pleasantly surprised and would give it top marks for a 3 star hotel, have been to higher grade hotels that have not been as good. The room was spacious and clean and did not lack for anything. The beds were very comfortable and shower was hot and powerful. Breakfasts were very continental, but for the money very good and we never left hungry.

Reasonable base for exploring the area

The apartments are in an attractive setting within a stone's throw of the only child-friendly beach. We liked the outdoor pool; it is private to the apartments and is cleaned every morning. The water is only lightly chlorinated but is unheated, so wouldn't suit some people (in fact the ocean is much warmer, but the water there can be quite rough). Our rooms were quite utilitarian, with basic cooking equipment, but these did the job for us very adequately. The beds are comfortable, but in January we were surprised to find we needed a blanket on top to stay warm enough. The shower was excellent. We had breakfast, which offered a good choice of hot and cold food. However, with the benefit of hindsight we would probably have opted for doing our own breakfast in the room. The staff were friendly and efficient. We will return to Valle Gran Rey at some time in the future and would have no hesitation in using the apartments again.

Nice but simple hotel, close to the beach

The hotel is located in a magical valley. Great location, very close to the beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but very simple. There is no cellular reception or internet in the rooms , just next to the pool.

Herlig sted, vekk fra charterturisme. Her hersker det ro og fred samtidig som inntrykkene strømmer på. Fargerike folk, deilig klima, idylliske omgivelser, herlig natur med stupbratte fjell og flotte fjellturer (men legg igjen høydeskrekken hjemme). Konserter og levende musikk i området flere ganger hver uke. Hotellets beliggenhet var super og leilighetene helt ok. Kommer gjerne tilbake, men skulle ønske det gikk båt helt fram til Valle Gran Rey, for bussturen gjennom stupbratt terreng var en utfordring.

Cinq jours à la Gomera

Nous sommes partis avec des amis nous avons loué 2 appartements au Jardin del Conde . Cet hôtel situé en bord de mer est très agréable, nos 2 appartements donnaient sur la piscine très propre, les petits déjeuners délicieux étaient copieux. Le personnel de la réception était compétant et agréable ainsi que tous les autres employés. Seul bémol les appartements mériteraient un coup de peinture!

Apparthotel bénéficiant d'une belle piscine et d'un beau jardin. Appartement spacieux bien que le mobilier est un peu vieillot. Dommage que les vacanciers se précipitent sur les transat dès l'aube pour réserver leur place sans l'occuper de pratiquement toute la journée. Accueil sympathique, bon petit déjeuner .

Nos ha parecido estupendo, la situación es perfecto bien ubicado y excelente, incluso en presencia es más bonito q en fotos. Un servicio muy amable y te cuidan en todo momento. La vigilancia de socorrismo en la zona de la piscina en tdo momento cuida y vigila q no pase nada. Los niños están vigilados y los padres pueden descansar en sus vacaciones. Volveremos sin dudarlo.

Buen lugar.

Los apartamentos están bien ubicados en frente del mar. Tienen una piscina y los jardines alrededor son bonitos y bien arreglados. El apartamento tiene un salón cocina, un sofá donde pueden dormir dos personas. Las camas tienen buen colchón. En general están muy bien, limpios y amplios. El personal es muy amable. Cerca hay restaurantes y una heladería. La zona es bonita y tranquila.

Good location, clean, but needs some refurbishment

We have been to 3 different appartments, in La Gomera. This has not been the nicest, but most extensive one. Not very extensive, but compared to the others, rate per night was 20% higher. It's clean but, needs some new modern furnature. All other appartments we have been to, have been fully equipped with cutlery, water kettle, even a sponge and dish liquid, while here we found nothing... Wifi was free of charge, unfortunately not good enough to have a proper connection to my company's server. However location was good. Close to restaurants and sea. Service was very good - a nice and helpful lady at the reception.

schöne Anlage in perfekter Lage

Sehr nettes Personal, perfekte Strandlage, alles zu Fuß erreichbar, gute Ausgangslage für Wanderungen und Ausflüge. Diverse Supermärkte in der Nähe. Alles sehr sauber, sehr große Apartements.

Das Hotel war überbucht, obige Bewertung falsch

Im Hotel angekommen haben wir erfahren, daß es überbucht ist. Leider hat uns Expedia eine Buchungsbestätigung geschickt, mit dem Vermerk nicht bei Expedia anzurufen, die Buchung gehe in Ordnung. Bis alles geklärt wurde waren 3 1/2 Stunden unseres kostbaren Urlaubs weg. Darauf hin hat uns Expedia einen Urlaubsgutschein von mindestens 40 € versprochen (mindestens deswegen, weil ich glaube es hat sogar geheißen ein 50.-€ Gutschein wird uns per e-mail zugeschickt.) Aber zu Hause angekommen mußte ich feststellen, daß der Gutschein nicht bei meiner e-mail Post war. Bis heute diskutiere ich darüber mit einem Herrn Neumann von Hotelreservierung.de Die beiden gehören zusammen, also Hotelreservierung.de und Expedia. Deshalb ist uns gleich noch ein zweites Maleur passiert. Das Hotel Tamaimo, das auch auf La Gomera angeboten wurde, befand sich auf Teneriffa. Als wir versucht haben, den Termin zu verschieben, wurde uns gesagt, das Hotel befände sich auf dem Festland und nicht auf Teneriffa. Auf Teneriffa hätten wir selbst den gebuchten Termin wahrnehmen können, wir hätten nur einen Tag früher von La Gomera nach Teneriffa zurückfahren müssen. Aber nach der Behauptung das Hotel befände sich auf dem Festland, haben wir das Hotel storniert. Diesen Fehler den die Angestellte bei Hotelreservierung gemacht hat, hat man uns bezahlen lassen. Wir bekamen nur einen Restbetrag nach Stornierung zurück. Wahrnung: Weder Expedia, noch Hotelreservierung.de kann ich weiterempfehlen.

Sehr zentrale Apartment-Anlage mit großen Zimmern

Die Apartment-Anlage ist sehr zentral gelegen, direkt gegenüber von einem kleinen Badestrand. Unser Apartment war sehr großzügig geschnitten, die Einrichtung scheint etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber insgesamt war das Zimmer sehr sauber und mit Sofa und anderen Sitzgelegenheiten ausreichend ausgestattet. Die eigene Veranda hin zum Swimmingpool-Bereich war sehr schön und praktisch. Das Frühstück war recht üppig, aber nichts Besonderes. Insgesamt fanden wir den hohen Preis für die Unterkunft nicht ganz gerechtfertigt, wir haben allerdings nichts anderes mehr bekommen.

El apartamento es muy completo y amplio. Solo estubimos una noche, pero se pueden pasar alli unas vacaciones largas y estar muy comodo. La habitación muy amplia con dos camas. El baño muy completo, pero echamos de menos que no hubiera jabón, champú, gel, secador de pelo... La cocina/salón muy amplios y comunicados con una terraza con vistas al mar. La piscina nos pareció un poco pequeña, pero agradable. Lo peor la wifi, que no llegaba al apartamento y solo se cogía en una zona cerca de la recepción.

Nah am Strand!

Die Lage ist prima, im August ist es vollbelegt, daher zu laut- auch nachts. Der Pool könnte mal wieder frisches Wasser brauchen...

Es pequeño y muy agradable. Y ubicación genial.

Es una de las mejores opciones para tenerlo todo cerca, playa, tranquilidad y próximo al parque nacional de Garajonay. Perfecto para familias. Es una de las mejores zonas de observación de estaceos ( delfines, ballenas, tiburones y tortugas). Recomendarlo sin duda.

Bien situado, la habitacion un poco viejuna y cutrilla pero en general esta bien. Es mas para ir en familia que en pareja. La piscina esta bien.
