Hotel was great! Large clean rooms with air con. Bed was very comfortable ans the service was discrete and efficient. Girls on front desk and cafe could be more attentive and friendly. I notcied a stake old smell in my room and went back immediately to change it with no problm. Many other hotels in valladolid cost the same but are not on the same level. Highly recommended
Overnight stay. Really pleased with hotel and facilities (just adding new pool and terrace) Rooms were very good and staff very helpful. We had a latenight meal in the street from their bar. It was most enjoyable drinks nicely presented and young waiter couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel is in a great location in buzzing attractive city still alive with people well into the evening. A good place for a city break. Breakfast was excellent and well presented with wide choice. Lots of healthy options including glutton free. Parking is €13.5 on top but very secure if a bit tight for a large saloon. We have it marked down as well worth a longer stay. A really pleasant stop over and good value. (Try to avoid Vollyball Internationals they hog the lifts)
Nice hotel in a lovely city. As for the staff, two ladies at the front desk in the morning and I couldn't make myself understood in English with any of them. Room smells a bit of smoke but very cosy bed. Breakfast nothing to get hung about.
The hotel parking lot was full. The girl at the counter told us to park on the street around the building, but not in front. Woke up to two tickets for 90 euros a piece. The front desk shrugged his shoulders and said, too bad can't help. Can't order a simple coffee for room service, can't get one to go to the room.
We've stayed in a couple of other Silken hotels, and this one is very typical of the chain. The beds are always excellent, so a good night's sleep is a high probability, and the soundproofing is pretty good, both from the street and interior. Reception staff are perfunctory and efficient rather than particularly warm, though the breakfast staff are friendly and pleasant, and the breakfast selection is very good (though some fresh tomatoes and red pepper would be a welcome addition!). Rooms are spacious, as are bathrooms, and housekeeping is of a good standard. The Juan de Austria is about a 20 minutes' not-particularly-scenic walk from the centre of town (and we walk quite fast); ok on a warm evening but actually quite a cold slog on a chilly Easter weekend. I've never seen as many fur coats out on show as over Easter weekend in Valladolid; it felt very different from other Spanish cities...
This is a nice hotel with nice rooms but most of all it's the staff that makes it special, rarely have I found such helpful staff. I even arrived 30 minutes late for breakfast and the lady responsible for breakfast told me to go to the cafeteria and brought me a coffee, some juice, pastries and sandwiches. I never saw this kind of attention and kindness in other hotels.
I stayed here for only a single night and was reasonably happy with my stay. Staff were friendly and courteous. Location was great, about 10 minutes to the bus station and maybe 15 to the large park. 20 into town. The WiFi was stable with an average speed. The rooms were also comfortable and quiet. Overall I had a pleasant stay here and would return.
In the middle of the town, next to the bullring , a wide promenade. Nearby bars , pubs , coffee shops open until midnight or longer. But the hotel is quiet and comfortable, the staff was extremely kind, courteous and helpful .
This was my First visit to that Hotel here in Valladolid. It is a really nice hotel directly on one of the main roads here in the city center. The rooms are well sized and comfortable. In addition to that the price is absolutely fair and good for a hotel like that.
Modern hotel in the main street of the city. Underground parking. The rooms are modern and comfortable, big beds. Badroom with bad/shower and toilet. Friendly staf. The breakfast is good, french orange juice, a lot of choice. Perfect business hotel or for a city trip, good located. Very good price quality.
