RH Bayren Hotel & Spa4.0 out of 5.0

A group of us recently stayed at the RH Bayren for a long weekend and were very impressed. The room was great, very clean with great views. Only downside was that the air con wasn't very good for the temperature. The food at breakfast and lunch was fantastic and great value, lunch was only 14 euro for the buffet. Drinks at the bar were generally cheap, especially the local bears and wines. All the staff worked very hard and were extremely polite, especially Espe who didn't seem to stop running around, a very very hard worker! Thanks again for an amazing stay, hope to return at some point.
we arrived to the hotel where we have been staying for years when we have travelled from Finland to Malaga and back. Hotel is execellent and we had before good experience but when we came there after driving 700 kilometers we went the best suite which was in disastrous condition. It had not been cleaned at all and swines have messed in the suite. We had to wait for one hour for cleaning. We received 50% discount which was not enough to please us.
Had a weekend stay with my husband and daughter of 17 mths. The room was clean but not as advertised in booking.com. There was no bathtub and it was difficult to shower the baby. The room cleaner (Concha) is super kind and polite. The buffet breakfast and dinner was good. The chef ( maybe his name is Carlos) cooking for the customers is very polite and kind. Another staff serving the customers in the restaurant is worth mentioning. His name is Juan Carlos. Very attentive and he can speak good English too. He is very passionate with his work. There is another staff named Roberto needs some improvement in his service and maybe some motivation towards his work. I can see that he is less passionate in his work and not very polite. Please provide him with more customer service training. The highchair for baby should be clean more often. We had our breakfast and dinner there for 4 times and everytime the highchair is very dirty. No one seems to bother to clean it. Overall its a nice hotel and the swimming pool and garden are very clean. The beach is just in front of the hotel.
We were looking for a nice relaxing beach break with a lovely hotel and wow we got more than we bargained for. From reception to restaurant and bar staff, everyone was so polite and friendly but we want to say a special thank you to Antonio .. he is a credit to the hotel with his charm, wit and friendly nature. He certainly made our stay pleasurable. The hotel itself is as you would expect a 4* to be .. and to be situated along the beach front added to a truly amazing experience. Food wise, even though it was buffet style .. provided such a wide and varied variety that you literally were spoilt for choice. The standard of quality being very high you won't be disappointed or hungry!! Would I go here again? .. definitely! Would I recommend the hotel? .. absolutely!
My boyfriend and l stayed for just one night here last month at short notice. It is a lovely relaxing hotel, we had a side room with sea view. Its very chilled and has a great atmosphere. I have stayed in a few four stars in Spain over the years and sometimes they are very disappointing. This though is not. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there is a nice bar. Breakfast was good with lots of choice, and had it been hot l would have given it top marks. However, anyone who travels in Spain knows they don't tend to serve piping hot food, l belieive the hotel have noted this from a few reviews and they are working to improve it. We didn't use the spa, but l can recommend the hotel and will definitely stay again when in Gandia. Guy at reception charming as well, again not always the case in Spain, and so important as it is ones first communication when arriving. The staff could teach other hotels a thing or two!
We needed a long stay chillout and spa. The hotel facilities were superb, with adequate facilities for disabled access throughout. Unfortuneately accessibility did not extend to the well equipped spa. A disappointment in that respect, but the friendly efficient staff and plentiful buffet with freshly grilled main courses and excellent deserts made up for our inability to use the spa. Stark modern decor, and prime beach side position make this hotel possibly the best in this Spanish family resort. Surprised to discover that many holidaymakers with in depth knowledge of area chose to come here as first choice,
We picked this hotel mainly because it said it was family friendly on their wepage. However, we advise other family visitors to check opening hours for the playing room (we got only 3 visits during a one week stay). They suddenly changed scheduled times due to weather conditions for other activities (biking trips for adults), so we nearly missed one of three as well. The indoor heated pool is just for adults, so in low season there is no real pool options for kids. To us, It seemed as waiters in the restaurant didn't exactly seem to fancy kids. Addittionally, the floor in our room was not cleaned even though we complained about it in the reception. Beside from that we liked the size of the room (family suite) and the view.
I was looking for a hotel with over 8 raiting great to have easy access to the beach and found, RH Bayren Hotel is one of the few hotels worth 4 *. We had a standard double room overlooking the side and it was ok. There is a very large room but enough for two people. The bathroom is a bit narrow, I would have preferred to be in instead bath a shower cabin The food is good you can choose different varieties, almost every evening to change something in the menu. In the morning I would prefer to be divesificat menu but it was not bad. Cleaning is a little rarely in rooms. The area is superb, close to the beach with a great view, worth every penny. WiFi goes well, sometimes you do not have full signal. Staff very friendly and welcoming. We were excited to stay at RH Bayren.
We spent 10 gorgeous days at the RH Bayren hotel : friendly welcome, very professional staff, spacious and nice rooms and bathrooms with all facilities (TV, fridge, wifi, laundry, etc), very good restaurant in this hotel with amazing buffets. We also tested the SPA (10 € for 1 hour), the outdoor pools are so nice. We will come back next year as our stay was fantastic, good weather for the period and just in front of the beach !
We booked this as a spa break holiday to follow on from another spa hotel in Calpe, both 4 star rating. On arrival we were pleased with the modern, clean minimalist look and feel. Our room is a bit sterile but very clean and practical. We were pleased to have sea view and balcony too. No English TV available, reported to Reception with no follow up. Sink does not keep water so hubby has to shave using a cup of hot water! The deal we booked was half board so breakfast and either lunch or dinner. We found the food displayed really well, the salad and fresh meats and cheeses fresh and well presented. The soup was warm and tasteless, the hot food selection poor as my stir fry was warm and the turkey slices average. The pizza was very good, tasty and hot as were the fresh chips and pork chops. The rooms, bar's and pool areas are of 4 star quality but not the food. Salt and pepper in paper? Spa is expensive €20 an hour? It's too cold to swim outdoors so surely there could be some spa price concessions in the winter months.
