We arrived in Valencia by the Renfe train at the Valencia Joaquin Sorolla train station. From here, we took a 10 minute walk to the hotel – walk past McDonalds, along a quiet road parallel to the train track, and cross an under-pass (no escalator or elevator, so got to lug your bags up and down the stairs). The hotel is located in the Ruzafa area – nice low-rise locale, comprising boutique hotels, restaurants, some shops and apartments. Check-in was very pleasant – I think the lady was Vanessa, and she was very friendly and helpful. If you need to look for a supermarket or restaurants, just ask them. There is a fairly large super-market about 5 minutes’ walk away. The hotel room is cosy and clean. There is a small fridge too. However, the safe box looked quite ancient and we ended up not using it. There is a bath-tub that functions as a shower tub as well. From the hotel, we could walk to areas of interest like the Central market, the Valencia cathedral and the city centre. We took a bus to the City of Arts and Science near the hotel (we got directions from the hotel reception staff). On our last day, we took the metro from Xatavia station (about 10 minutes’ walk from the hotel) to the Valencia airport. All in, a very pleasant stay and would recommend this place for a short stay.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is buffet style and ok. The room was a little tired beds very comfy. Bathroom has a glass door that doesn’t close, it wasn’t broke it wasn’t meant to close, why? Quiet a good location, about 10 minuets walk to tube and trains
We stayed 5 nights here and found it as a good base to explore Valencia. A ten minutes walk to the shopping streets and the City Hall square. Some ten- fifteen more minutes then to get deeper in the Old Town. Neighborhood is peaceful, but the very street of the hotel and a couple parallel and crossing streets have lots of nice small restaurants. The room was clean, comfortable and large enough for two persons. The staff was attentive and polite. The only negative remark is that the walls are quite "thin". You could so easily hear voices from the corridor and neighboring rooms.
Excellent location with lots of various restaurants and bars yet relatively quiet, close to the center, nice old building and beautiful old district with exceptionally kept houses, all very handsome. Room - nice, bathroom -a bit weird, with a "modern" glass door, that is never completely closed, so you hear and even see a little bit of everything. This wasn't convenient staying with the child, but even with my husband I wouldn't like to share that much... Another thing that wasn't convenient - breakfast tables mostly occupied, so you either wait until one gets free or you sit at different tables. That wasn't too bad, we usually managed to sit togeher in the end and didn't cause too much trouble. Breakast quality was good. Very friendly and helpful reception staff, free coffee / tea / milk at the reception from 13:00 till 23.00 which we used almost daily. I would say good value for money. Any something else - Valencia has to be seen! The city is absolutely incredible (modern and old parts, enourmous beach, Turia gardens, Oceanarium)- we were stunned.
Very comfortable bed, lovely amenities and fantastic breakfast. Close to trains and city activities. We only stayed 2 days. The staff were very helpful with recommendations on what to see and where to eat during our short stay
We had a large room on the third floor overlooking the street. High enough to lose some of the street level noise and get a breeze in the room with the windows open. good view of the streets and the rooftops. Fantastic breakfast.
Myself and my partner booked a few nights away and were more than thrilled when we found this gem. I upgraded the room to one with a terrace so that I could wake up and enjoy watching the world go by. We stayed in room 603 with the large terrace and it was perfect. My only slight disappointment was lack of kettle in the room to allow us to make a hot drink first thing. I later realised there were these facilities in the lobby so all was fine! The local area was perfect for bars and restaurants. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as we wanted to explore, however the buffet did look nice. At night there were a few bars right next to the hotel, but we never heard the noise or disturbance. Reading previous reviews I was keen to acknowledge the smell upon arrival, I was not disappointed!!! Thank you for a lovely stay!
Clean, well designed little room with a patio. Easy walk to the train stations and in town. What really made this hotel glow was the service provided by Vanessa at the front desk. Would this hotel recommend to everyone
The room we got was with a balcony overlooking the streets down. It was very cozy. The bathroo, door is not completely closed so the person you are sharing the room with could hear, smell, see a little bit what you are doing inside the bathroom. The toilet seat is placed in a way that one could see your rear side while sitting inside. That is what you call transparency. The receptionist is very helpful, warm and courteous. It made the stay better and unforgettable.
The hotel was nice, room was good and the location is close to railway station and. The city tour bus also has a stop not far from the hotel. One can just walk to the stop. The staff was nice and friendly.
