We went to stay in Valencia at Silken Puerta over the Christmas holdiays. We had a fairly large room consisting of two single beds, one king sized bed( plus the nightstands next to each of the beds), two tvs, one desk, 2 armchairs and a minibar. The room was really spacious and the cleaning services were good and our room was cleaned almost every day. The staff at the hotel were also very kind and welcoming. We properly ate at the hotel once only (because we preferred restaurants) but the food was delicious. The staff at the cafe work very quickly and the beverages we drank were really good. ( I realised I didn’t have any pics of the hotel but they are pictures of the view from our hotel room)
We got here after a rather long drive from Granada so were looking to quickly check in and go for dinner. The front desk was very helpful and gave us the rooms and a free underground parking space in no time. Rooms were spacious and clean. We only stayed one night and left early morning the next day but had no issue during our stay. We did not get to explore the amenities of the hotel except for the breakfast which was so-so. If you have time to find a better option, go for it. If you want something convenient, then this will do just fine.
I really enjoyed the stay at this hotel. Staff was very helpful, they did not charge for early check-in and gave us both rooms more than 4 hours earlier than normal. Internet working great, very clean and cosy, walking distance (5-7 minutes) from Mestalla (Valencia FC) stadium and metro station. Great breakfast as well!
We stayed at Silken Puerta Valencia for 4 nights in a room with a terrace. The room was comfortable with a nice bed. Friendly staff. The outside of the hotel looks very modern. Some aspects of the interior hotel does give it a bit worn out feel however which was a big contrast with the outside looks. For example small damage to furniture and floors. Plastic flowers everywhere (and not the good looking ones). The room itself was comfortable and nicely clean. Breakfast was tasteful, but not very special. Every day the same selection and less divers than we are used to while staying at 4* hotels. So in the end we had a comfortable stay, but would definitely not rate this hotel as a 4* accommodation. So with that in mind I might choose another less expensive 3* hotel or a different 4* hotel.
I have stayed here on at least three occasions now, it is goid valye and the rooms are clean and staff helpful and friendly. It is well located for UPV university, which us a 20 minute walk away. There are lots of nice restaurants within a 5 minute walk, a pharmacy and small supermarket very close by. Free wifi is good and works well without issues. Restaurant is okay, but limited especiallh if you arrive late, you are better going out.
The hotel needs a complete remodel. We stayed in room 508, and there was a lot of dust on the floor, curtains and headboards. The bathroom door was broken at the bottom. The cleaning detergents they use have a strong odor that caused us allergies. They are trying to dissipate the smoking odor, but it affected our health. We had to tell the room attendant not to clean the room because it was extremely dangerous for us. Night front desk person had no customer service. My mom told him that we did not have toilet paper, and he rolled his eyes and said someone will bring paper to the room. We waited and no one came! We called front desk several times, and no one answered. It was a terrible stay.
Nice hotel next to the City centre. All in walking distance. Personal was very kind. Good breakfast. Nice room. Very clean. All in all A place to go back to. The City centre is half an hout walking from te hotel.
The staff was welcoming and most helpful. The rooms were comfortable and with well appointed fixtures, furniture and artwork! Great experience. Central location to our tour activities was a great plus. Trafalgar Tours makes great accommodation choices!
We had a very good stay in this hotel. If only the restaurant would be open before 20u30 it would be completely perfect. The served food had high quality. Very friendly persons at the reception desk. We recommend the hotel at anybody.
Hotel was clean and well presented good parking facilities that were essential. Hotel was busy with gap visitors and breakfast opened early to allow people to get to circuit in time both Saturday and Sunday. Reasonable value for money. Surrounding area bit shabby.
