my grandson and I stayed for 3nights in early June. The hotel was a very wise choice,we took a taxi from airport(20 euros) Although you can take Metro from airport to a nearby station close to hotel. r Reception staff were very professional and user friendly ,as they we're throughout our stay, giving us advice and instructions As far as hotel is concerned it was spotless ALL staff were very friendly and breakfast. Was excellent with a large variety of food choices the room we had was on 3rd floor and was ample for the two of us and we'll maintained hall through our stay, many thanks to cleaning staff The hotels location we found was excellent, stations ,old town and major park are all within walking distance although City Art and Science. Is a 1hour bike ride away but is not to be missed.the beach is nearby. we were on B and B status but the are plenty of eating places in easy reached as is a major store and shopping mall All in all a very god choice of Joel and I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for a stay in Valencia which is a City you should

We recently stayed at this hotel. We used the underground car park, which is small and has tight spaces. At a cost of €16 a night; it is quite steep! The lobby of the hotel is very nice, with free water and sweets provided. Check in was swift and we were given a room on the 11th floor with a great view of the city. Upon entering the room, there was a bad smell of sewage? We immediately phoned reception who sent an engineer to spray the room, sadly this did not really diminish the smell. We called reception again, and the same happened; but the engineer simply sprayed more. Once in the room, you got used to the smell, but walking out and back in. It was still obvious. Another problem we encountered was the room being VERY warm! We had the air conditioning turned on full, and could barely feel it. Again, reception sent an engineer who tested the air conditioner temperature and said in his best English that it was OK - when obviously the room was overly hot. Reception offered to move us, but due to staying only one night and already unpacked and on the verge of going out - we stayed put - and had a warm night. The room itself was large, comfy and good amenities. Although an iron in the room would've been useful (you had to request one from reception and sign for it). The bathroom was large, clean and shower was very good and powerful. The rooftop pool is small, but nice to refresh after a hot day. There is also a rooftop bar, which has great views. But only open at night? This would be great during the day if using the pool. The hotel is pretty well situated, very close to the riverbed park and walking distance (20mins) to the city centre. Overall the hotel was good, but sadly the smell and air conditioning made our stay not as good as we would have liked.

Terrible night with drunk guests, They didn't return the money, I wake up twice to notice the reception at 4:00 am as It was imposible sleep. Poor quality service, they didn't help us after see that we start unloading 6 luggages, 2 strollers with 2 kids under 1 year old Just Remember that is a 4 stars Hotel. I have everything tracked by email, no solution from the director. Please find photos attached.

Arrived in Valencia airport and took a taxi to NH Valencia Center - cost around €20. The hotel is located around the corner from the Bus Station and beside the Nuevo Centre, a pretty decent shopping centre. As for the hotel, check-in was easy and we were given the option of 2 rooms, one on the 11th and one on the 9th floors. As the bar is on the 11th floor we choose the 9th floor. The room was fine, as was the bathroom - in fact the room was spotless and was cleaned everyday. Very good selection at breakfast, I believe that if you want a hot breakfast you just have to ask! We had lunch and dinner during our stay in the hotel restaurant, very good quality of food but the lunch of just ravioli was expensive enough. The pool is on the 11th floor as there's a terrace available where you can order drinks or something to eat. If you're planning on spending everyday by the pool you need to get there early. The pool is great for cooling off but you won't be doing much swimming as it's very small. There are only 7 sunbeds which means people are lying all over the place trying to sunbathe - probably the only (tiny) complaint I would have. There's also a small gym available, good way to start the day. The mini-bar is very expensive but the prices are displayed so you've no excuses! The location of the hotel is excellent - the bus stop is outside the door where you can get the bus to the City of Arts and Science and the beach. It's also only a 20 minute walk to the Bioparc. There's also a few nice restaurants in the Nuevo Centre. The walk to the old town is around 15 minutes and the Turia (park) is across the road. Great location. The staff in the hotel are very professional, so no problems there. Soundproofing isn't great, but it's never been great in any hotel I've stayed in but the other guests were all very nice and friendly. This is one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in - the toilets in the reception are spotless as are the corridors, pool area, gym etc. Overall this is a really good hotel, next time in Valencia I'll stay here again.

Found hotel staff very helpful with very good English. Our room was spacious and clean with plenty of toiletries in bathroom and a big free safe. The only down side was no tea or coffee making facilities (there was however a payable mini bar in the fridge!). Booked on a room only basis and didn't eat here, so can't comment on the food. Used the bar but found the service a bit slow - perhaps it was because it was always quiet. Location of the hotel great, easy to get to from the airport by the Metro,15/20 mins stroll into the town over the dry river & 10 mins away from the Metro. Plenty of restaurants at the square near the Corte Ingles store. Would definitely return.

NH Hotel in Valencia is a good hotel to visit the city . Employees are really profesional; service , rooms , ... are as I hope . What could be improved is to be more " familial " ! Room , service ... no surprise

I found the hotel very comfortable and well appointed. Our room was clean and quite spacious with open views - the city with cathedral was visible off to the right.. It is quite well situated just beyond the old river/park just a short walk 15 - 20 minutes from the old town. Not brilliant for restaurants nearby apart from the chain restos in the Corte Ingles shopping mall beside the bus station but as I said it was not far to the many many great places in the Old Town. Close to the metro and bus routes that could take you to the Bioparc, beach or the Science Park at 1.5 Euros a trip. Friendly and helpful staff in Reception and dining room. A coffee-maker in the room would have been nice !

We stayed in 4 NH hotels on our trip. All rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable, wonderful staff, always had someone on staff that could speak a little English at least, so we could communicate.

The hotel is very good, clean, modern and very friendly. It is well situated near the metro and an easy 10 or 15 minute walk into the old city. There is a shopping centre close by and one or two restaurants worth going to if you don't want to go into the old city. Overall the hotel was just what we wanted for a city break, I can't think of any issues we had whilst there. Breakfast was good and the bar menu was not too bad either. We would go back if visiting Valencia.

I arrived late in Valencia's train station and was happy the hotel was only a ten minute cab ride from the station. After check in I was happy to settle into a larger room (since meant for disabled). However, a few hours later my happiness ended when I was woken up around 2:30 am when the couple in the room next door arrived home and I realized the door between our rooms meant I could hear even normal conversation. I called the reception and asked about switching rooms but the hotel was booked so they offered to call the room, which I felt bad about as they weren't even being that loud. After the call, I unfortunately got to know the couple on a more intimate basis, you can also hear the bed through the door :) after another hour I called the reception again and the best they could offer was to call back. Since I was only in Valencia one full day, it was disappointing to start off sleeping like that. I was also pretty appalled as compensation in the morning the reception offered me a free coffee machine, free coffee I got to make myself, how generous! In other logistical things, the hotel is about a 15-20 min walk from a good amount of sites and restaurants. There seemed to be less right next to hotel but hotel does have a restaurant and bar that I didn't try. There's also a small gym (maybe easier to go for run in park next door) and indoor pool area. When I was there the roof top wasn't open during the day but opened at 6 pm.
