We are just back from a very enjoyable week, 4 star hotel, booked a room with outdoor space which is on 1st floor, hotel was busy for the Valencia Moto GP which just added to the atmosphere, good underground parking, lovely Hydra Therapy Spa, great bar & breakfast, it is right in the city centre so you can walk to everything & have the river bed garden right there for walking, jogging or cycling, all the bars & restaurants are all done on foot & all the shops & huge department stores on the same block, would suggest this one to anyone for anytime of year, staff were great, all spoke English, but my husband spoke Spanish which they all loved, well done Hotel Primus see you again next year! Oh & taxi rank is 20 steps away if you don't want yo walk!
Me and my sister where here for 1 week. We enjoyed the hotel, it was very clean, our closet couldn't open but this was fixed in 1 day. The breakfast is only 10 euro and there is a lot of choice. We where sorry we had breakfast sometimes at other places. The sauna and swimming pool where not for free. We had to pay €20,00 per person for only 80 minutes! It was small, we didn't have the place only for us and too expensive. I go to a Spa a whole day for €30,00 and it is much better. The fitness was free but many devices where broken or could use some oil. There was no airco and while it is next to the Spa very warm inside.
The stay started a little puzzled when we were told at the reception that it would not be possible to receive an iron... we could however book the ironing service for €6 per shirt (ironing only...). The room size and the bathroom are ok. The wallpapers are starting to fall off and some of the switches also fell of the wall. Ok, if you stay only during the night and don't need much. Location is ok, if you use a bus or bike in order to reach both the city center or the beach
We had a great welcome from the front desk to the breakfast team, all were very helpful......... Primus is a modern hotel, close to the science park, shops and mall opposite with shops and restaurants. We hired bikes from the hotel which was a great way to get around the city. As a family they gave us a suite and adjoining room with a lounge and 2 bathrooms, we couldnt have asked for more space. We had the included buffet breakfast which would cater for most tastes. The only negative was a squeaky bed in the main room and some noise from the bars below at night. We enjoyed our stay and Valencia City and would stay again.
Lovely modern hotel near Ciudad de las Artes y las Scientias. Reception was very helpful in giving us information about the surroundings. We hired bikes for three days and within 2 minutes you’ll bike through the Turia Park. Family room was great and specious. Only one minor thing: the beds weren’t fixed to the floor and rolled away when reading in bed. Breakfast was perfect for us with enough choices. The pool was nice although we preferred the sea. We would love to come back someday.
Stayed here for three nights, easy to get from airport with a taxi . Hotel bright and clean.Very near the Arts and science park only a short walk from the hotel. we were on the fifth floor had view of busy traffic and part of arts and science buildings. Nice was nicer than i thought , but didn't get double bed. did not complain as we liked the room.Shame no coffee/tea in room.More of a business hotel.( Right next door to a huge department store). Easy to get bus into old town and back .Beach not far so walked.Reception staff spoke english. "Mar "was very helpful and gave us maps and advise.Breakfast was disappointing. cold hard boiled eggs and over creamed scrambled eggs! but bacon ok and courgette and pepper dish was nice . Nice fruit , coffee awful, just out of a machine.(which is fine but not nice).Valencia is very spanish, we struggled with the language. English not so widely spoken here.Struggled to find somewhere to eat in evenings had italian meals twice ,(different places) as people seem to eat so late well after nine. and didnt want to be the only people eating in an empty restaurant. Hotel better than i thought , reading some of the reviews on here! Enjoyed our stay.
Position of Hotel excellent. Good choice of buses available. Able to walk to many touiristy destinations. Booked as a four star hotel. But Hotel sadly lacking the style/comfort and decor of a four star. The whole hotel had no colour, brown, black, white and more black! Dark brown wall paper everywhere ! Entrance Foyer dull, dark and unwelcoming. Low lighting, dangerous black stairs down to Spa, very little lighting. Standard room, bare, plain, wall paper peeling off, painted areas scuffed. Air conditioning did not work when we arrived, fixed quickly, fridge had to be replaced, not working, sorted quickly. Room cleaned well every day. Breakfast good, plentiful and good choices. All staff very helpful and friendly.
I stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip in October. Very quick and easy check in with the receptionists speaking good English. Room was large for a city room, clean modern decor, large balcony with furniture and good wifi. Only downside was the limited English channels on the TV (CCN, BBC World News). Room service menu was a little basic but the Spaghetti Bolognese was really tasty (although a fairly small bowl). Easy to get a taxi right outside and close to get to the main sights in the city.
Had a pleasant stay at the Primus hotel for 2 nights. Room was nicely decorated, clean and spacious - I stayed on the 7th floor with good views across Valencia. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is well situated near to the famous art centre and Opera house buildings. I had a club sandwich from room service room service one evening which was of a good standard. One criticism would be the standard of the breakfast - selection and quality which was very basic and not what I would expect from this class of hotel. But overall a good experience.
This hotel is very well situated not far from the City of Arts & Science. The rooms are big and well equipped. Fancy elevator with outside view. Small but nice swimming pool. Parking downstairs with direct access to the hotel lobby. The only bad point is the breakfast. Expensive and not very well supplied. Better to go outside: there is a lot of small place to get a better offer. Staff friendly (sometimes a little overbooked). Not really a luxury hotel but a good value for the price.
