We were to check in at 3pm. Room still not ready. The bed was huge and great( best part). The toilet paper holder was missing with 2 big holes in the wall. Toilet paper sat on the side of the tub. The next morning while I showered I noticed the holder behind the toilet, still with paper on it. ( They actually checked this room before we got the key key, apparently) I suppose it was as clean as it could be, as no maintenance has been done for what seems like years. . The breakfast was a total joke. The pancakes were silver dollars...2 ...the toasters were so slow, and the bread was still in the bags where everyone could handle them. 3 large tables with 5 chairs each...very tight quarters...so you were sitting with total strangers, standing to eat or take it your room I would certainly not recommend spending close to 200 bucks. Save your money and go to the Yellowhead...and grab a Tim Hortons breakfast sandwich.

Warm welcome on arrival, helpful answers to our questions, good beds,and breakfast. However no fridge in the room and the desk was surprised when I told them on checkout. Good one night stay.

I will not come back

The hotel is little. They don't have enough room for eat. The laundry facility does not work well. The last days the staff tells that they were run out of food. The air conditioning is very noisy. I will not come back . Was a very uncomfortable stay

It’s a gem in middle of your journey to Jasper. The lady at the front desk s so sweet. Best breakfast we got and the price is so reasonable. About the place Valemount is so quiet and we loved it.

While I wasn't expecting 5 star service at a Super 8, two things dropped the rating from my normal 4 to a 3. Well, three things, actually. 1) We were supplied 2 towel sets in the room when we had booked in 4 people. Not a huge deal, but we had to ask for extra towels. 2) The drain in the sink was dirty, we cleaned it ourselves before using it. 3) The big one was no forks in the breakfast area. The front desk clerk didn't seem concerned that none were available, he just shrugged 'we don't have any'. Do better, Super 8!

Stayed at the Valemount BC Super 8 hotel while passing through the Rockies — it was a solid, comfortable stop. Nothing fancy, but it had everything we needed. The place was clean, the staff were polite, and it felt welcoming. A nice touch that stood out was the designated veteran parking — small gesture, but very appreciated. Overall, a good stay in a beautiful little mountain town.

Manager needs to be responsive to guests!

Many tourist staying at hotel. TV’s were not working for the last three days.Not mentioned at check in. Did pre-check and still asked for ID, credit card and make, model and licence plate number. What is the point of a pre-check? Manager non responsive. Staff unable to help. One German couple had a poor rattling air conditioner. Issue not addressed. Hotel was full of tourists. Many upset people at breakfast.

I will never ever book this hotel. Unfortunately, my experience was highly disappointing due to several issues that were neither resolved. Bathroom Hygiene: The bathroom had a strong smell of urine. I reported this issue to the front desk, and I was assured that it would be resolved the next morning. However, despite leaving early to allow time for it to be fixed, the smell persisted and no action was taken. Air Conditioning: The AC flaps were faulty, directing airflow directly onto the face, which caused discomfort and resulted in me catching a cold. Wash Basin Fixtures: The taps on the wash basin were extremely difficult to use, requiring excessive force. It appeared that bathtub taps had been installed on the basin, making them impractical for normal use. Insufficient Towels: Despite having three guests in the room, only two towels were provided, which was highly inconvenient. These issues not only caused discomfort but also reflect poorly on the standards of service and guest care. I was expecting that guest concerns would be taken seriously, but unfortunately, this was not the case.
