Whether you are visiting for work or for pleasure, you will feel completely relaxed in "The Terrace Retreat". This adorable 2 BR, 1 bath, newly furnished and updated 1940s gem provides all the comforts of home. After a restful night's sleep, wake up to an espresso, tea, or coffee while sitting in the sunroom or outdoors in the peaceful backyard. In the evening, take a walk in the tranquil and safe neighborhood, and close out your evening under the decorative lighting or around the firepit.

This quaint, older home has been fully updated while keeping it's original charm. New exterior with fenced in yard, larger carport, and new concrete patio. All NEW windows added in March 2023 so that you can enjoy the cooler nights and fresh air filling the home while you sleep.

Enter through the bright and cheerful sunroom, equipped with a sofa with lounger, as well as a large flat screen TV. The natural light shines in through all the windows in this comfy space. There is also a brand new washer and dryer for your use.

Enter from the sunroom, through original pocket doors, into the living room or the kitchen. In the fully stocked kitchen , enjoy the coffee bar equipped with a Breville Barista Espresso Maker, Tea, and coffee maker. Also provided are all the kitchen utensils and cookware necessary to make a wonderful meal. You may also decide to grill your meal on the easy to use gas grill sitting on the patio.

There is a small dining area through the kitchen where you can have meals while looking into the lovely front yard.

Down the hall there is a newly updated (9/23) and nicely decorated bathroom with a tub/shower.

The master bedroom includes a cozy King sized bed with lots of natural light. Watch the large flat screen TV or fall to sleep reading your favorite book.

In the second bedroom, relax in the comfortable Queen sized bed while reading or just looking for a restful night of sleep. There is no TV in this room. But there are large TVs in all other rooms for your enjoyment.

This place is amazing! It was our second time staying here and we booked it again for Sunday. Its a beautiful house with a huge yard and amazing hosts. It breaks up our trip from Atlanta to Melbourne Fl perfectly and allows us and our dogs a peaceful sanctuary for what would be an unbearable journey. I 100% recommend staying at this quiet and clean paradise in Valdosta

Cute house, quiet neighborhood. We stopped here overnight on our way to florida. We arrived late at night so we didn't have the pleasure to enjoy all the amenities but our dogs really enjoyed the fenced in back yard after being stuck in the car all day!! Would stay here again.

Super Adorable Half Way Point Between Central Florida and Atlanta (Pet Friendly)

This place is super comphy, clean, and in the perfect location if you want to give your pets a break traveling from Central FL to Atlanta.The neighborhood felt very safe and it was quiet.The owners were wonderful communicators and went out of their way to help us locate an item we thought we left there.We ordered take-out from Lion of Judah Ethiopian American Cuisine and it was super delicious and about 5 minutes away.We will be back!

Graduation weekend

Loved staying here for the second time! This sweet home is very clean and lovely. Staying at this home instead of a hotel afforded us room for our daughters to dress for graduation. Extremely comfortable stay here in Valdosta. We will definitely be back when in the area. COMPLETELY updated property. I’ve never stayed in such a clean and well-appointed rental. We loved watching tv in the sunroom. Every room was relaxing. Appreciated the shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispenser in the shower. It was perfect for our dogs too - wonderful backyard!! The owner was extremely attentive too!
