This was the second time we have stayed here, it was clean, quiet and the hospitality was great. My kids had fun playing outside in the snow, there is plenty of room to just hang out and relax.

The hosts were both very welcoming, and quickly responded anytime we had a question. The property was in great shape, and was very easy to settle in. One thing that stood out to me is that in addition to providing the usual basic coffee supplies, they left all the non-perishable foods that previous guests left on check-out. It was really nice to not have to buy lots of supplies, where we only needed a small amount for the entire stay. It made me feel really good about leaving our 'extras' knowing that they could/would be available and used by future guests.

Cute house great location if you have a car

Nice place with plenty of space and comforts. Owners were super nice and communicated well. Property was well maintained with nice outdoor space and a fire pit to enjoy the Alaskan summer evenings. Short few minute drive to town, would be a long walk without a car but very convenient with a vehicle. Amazing views. Freezer space for fish caught if needed. Was told bears come through daily. But didn’t see any. Was able to enjoy the bald eagle nesting in the trees in the yard! Overall great place to stay.

Roomy but cozy

We had a wonderful stay in Valdez. The home had plenty of space for the 5 of us to spread out yet had a very cozy, homey feel. We enjoyed the den and outdoor spaces, especially the rasberry bushes. Conveniently located to the port as well as local hiking trails.

Perfect Retreat

Perfect place just a few minutes from the town of Valdez, could bike into town if you wanted to. Also only a few minutes to the salmon hatchery and to Thompson pass. A bald eagle nest was in the tree next to the house. So we saw them everyday all around us. House was clean and spacious, host Deanna was accessible and accommodating to our needs. House was stocked with everything we needed. Be careful the water is very hot! Beautiful views from the windows, will definitely stay here again.

Lovely stopover in Valdez

We spent two nights here after several days of camping in Wrangell St. Elias and Glen Allen. This was a perfect place to recharge- the house was very comfortable, with everything we needed and plenty of space for our family of four to relax.The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. Bed & bath linens were lovely. Deanna kindly checked in after our first night, and made a couple of recommendations for the remainder of our time.We wished we could have stayed for longer!
