Door didn’t lock with key. Was brought to their attention and they told me to just lock it by hand but did no good because key didn’t work. Don’t stay here is you are a small family with dogs. You have zero room to do anything on the room except open the door. “Continental breakfast” means bagels or cereal. Way overpriced for a closet with beds in them.

It was ok but for the price it was small enough and kinda dirty, very limited selection for breakfast as well

Price on Orbitz was $130 per night. Was charged $156 per night when we checked in. I understand that there's a bed tax, but 20%%. Really? Plus the room is a dump. Definitely not worth $156 a night.

Very tired property with paper thin walls. Looks and feels like a refurbished pipeline camp. Good internet access, close to harbor and ferry terminal.

There are so many points, in order encountered: key is old motel style, room was 77.5 degrees, window opposite other units so no privacy if open window, wall mirror positioned so that can be seen in bathroom through window, shower drain did not work, smoke detector on ceiling was hanging by its wires and wrapped in plastic bag, manager brought fan - but outlet to plug it into did not work, room so small no room for chair or desk - etc. Room was dirty and old as we have never seen.

The rooms are small but you dont stay in a hotel like this, at this price, for the amenities. The staff was very good. A great place to rest your head and get back out and fish.

The nicest thing I can say is the young man at the front desk was very nice and pleasant. The breakfast was very adequate and the surrounding scenery was outstanding. The building itself looked okay from the outside but inside was not very clean, was old, and worn. In need of a good cleaning and facelift. Linens were old, stained, and dingy. We did love the little town of Valdez and enjoyed our visit very much.

This hotel is fantastic for people who know they won't be lounging in their rooms. If your the type of person who knows they are going to get out and explore the world around them, but want a clean room with a shower and basic amenities, you'll be perfectly happy!

No chairs in the room. 22” tv was on dresser in corner, speaker was blown out. Wires hanging off the wall. Toilet leaked—needed new wax ring. WiFi was a joke. I complained about it but no one seemed to care. One desk clerk went out of his way to say it didn’t work in the lobby and when I told him my room number he said it didn’t work there either. It is just above tents and outhouse service. But I guess this is the Alaskan experience.

Hello Michael, Thank you for submitting your review. We serve breakfast every morning, 7 days a week. Now, breakfast was cut down some this year in compliance with the current regulations that are in effect until after the summer season is over for 2020. Please accept our apologies for not receiving our full breakfast experience this year. We are hoping to be able to bring back HOT foods next time around! So please stay tuned for that. Also, some of our standard rooms are indeed a bit modest-sized compared to our larger rooms that can comfortably fit a family of five. It is our most popular option with: Two Full-size beds Two Full Bathrooms & A bed fit for a KING! ...Be sure to call ahead of time as they are a favorite and they go pretty fast. Thanks again for your feedback and we hope to see you again in the future!
