We had the best four-day weekend ever at the Pines Lodge! The staff was amazing. Made us feel like family. The restaurant and bar earn 5 stars in my book (thank you Carlin). And Beaver Creek is magical! We’ll not soon forget the wonderful time we had there!

Stayed here for a weekend hiking trip. Was really fabulous. Top notch facility and staff. I would recommend this property to anyone.

The room was comfortable and the staff was friendly.

This is a very convenient place to stay at the bottom of Beaver Creek Ski Resort with excellent facilities and staff.

The hotel is in a great location. It was easy to ski on a path behind the hotel to Strawberry Park lift and even easier to ski back to Pines Lodge at the end of the day. Just look for the signs to Pines Lodge accessed from Intertwine cat walk. Friendly and helpful staff...we ended up with a room with no bath tub only a shower and after calling the front desk, they moved is to an upgraded room with a bath tub. The ski storage is near the lobby and everyone was kind and helpful with getting our equipment. As we were checking out, the General Manager was so kind helping load our bags and just being pro active and professional. Overall a wonderful trip....will definitely return to the Pines Lodge!!

This hotel was way more beautiful then it looks on the picture. Staff was very friendly and professional. The rooms were very clean, spacious & modern. We didn't use their ski lifts and never made it on time for the free cookies & hot chocolate but they do offer great amenities. Overall we were very impressed. Definitely coming back. The hotel offers free shuttle to the village & has amazing views. The only con is the required resort fee of $30 per day, which is for Valet parking & the shuttle and it is mandatory. Overall one of the best vacations we've taken.

Very quaint and well located hotel. Has everything you need but not all the extra froo froo. Ski out is a bit of a walk 30yards. Ski in requires good blue skills to accomplish but shuttles are super easy and fast. Best view I've ever had especially when you consider the money view was $1000 a night elsewhere!! Great restaurant, only open from 330pm but all day room service. Our extras tab when checking out was only the room service and a $30 per diem fee. No valet, no ripoffs love this place if you can't afford the Ritz

Shuttle to the lift comes every 15 minutes on time. Rooms are good, the beds are top quality needed after a long day skiing. Carlos, the barkeeper knows his mixology to perfection. Allow him to mix his recommendations, I was in bars all over the world, I rate him in the class of Harry's in Venice/Italy. The piano player is first class and compliments the drinks. Bellhops are fast, efficient and friendly. Reception needs some improvement.

Great location, because of the off season it was a great value! Rooms were just updated, very nice. The restaurant was excellent, and again because of the off season was a deal! My only con would be that the restaurant was only open for dinner, therefore no breakfast options. I had read from a previous review that they had coffee & muffins on each floor....perfect....unless they are out of muffins and out of creamer! Bring your own and your stay will be AWESOME!

We have been staying at the Pines Lodge on and off for many years and always enjoy the location. The hotel is undergoing a renovation that was needed, but the new look is odd to me....more modern than mountain. My only complaint was that our room was handicapped access and did not have a bathtub and we noticed too late to ask for a change. No one mentioned it at checkin or when we made the reservation. They do provide coffee, tea and muffins in the hallway....thoughtful touch as the restaurant is not open for breakfast. The 33.00 per room per night resort charge is annoying, but in the winter it costs 25.00 to park in the village garages, so that makes it easier to stomach. It's hard to pay in summer/fall, though. Overall, the staff is very pleasant the location is wonderful.

Short staffed and sometimes limited services, but overall nice. A little dated and seems to have outlived its high end boutique hotel image. Required valet is inconvenient and time consuming. Would not be worth the price in ski season except for location near slopes.

HOTEL WAS WONDERFUL BUT THE COST OF FOOD AROUND IT WAS OUT OF SIGHT PRICE WISE.

We have a fantastic experience at this lodge. It was a first-class experience at a good value. We got two comfortable beds and windows with a mountain view. It was gorgeous!

Great Location, Awesome Service Only Con was Resort Fee

Everything was great, staff and the location also was great, you are just a couple of minute of the ski zone.

First off, the hotel staff was truly amazing. By far the best experience in any hotel we have stayed in. The rooms were clean, the view was amazing and we are certainly looking forward to our next stay at this resort.

I've been to Beaver Creek 4 times, and each time I've stayed at the Pines Lodge. If you come here expecting Four Seasons/Ritz quality, you might be disappointed, but I would say that the Pines is a great second tier option in Beaver Creek if you don't want to spend $800 - $1000/night at the Rtiz Bachelor Gulch or the Park Hyatt (by the way, neither of these more expensive is as great as other Ritz or Park Hyatt hotels). The great things about the Pines are 1) on-site Beaver Creek Sports rental shop, 2) ski-in, walk/ski-out from the back door, 3) Grouse Mountain Grill for dinner. The worst thing about the hotel is the breakfast -- it is a $20 buffet that feels like one of the worst values in a world of expensive hotel breakfasts. You can walk 5 minutes down to the village, but the walk back is uphill a little bit, so even though you don't want to pay for breakfast at the hotel, it sort of isn't worth it to go to the village. But overall, I think the Pines Lodge is a really good value for peak season travel if you want to be close to the village and almost fully ski-in, ski-out.

The staff was wonderful and the location was great.

This was our first stay at the pines, it is a smaller hotel/lodge which is nice. The staff was very friendly and quick to help with questions or any problems that occurred during our stay. Excellent restaurant on site, would stay here again.

The hotel has a fantastic location. Ski out and ski in (with a little bit of creative navigation). The room was nicely appointed and very large. The boot heaters in each room were a nice touch too. We are already looking forward to our next stay at this hotel.
