Marriott's StreamSide Birch at Vail

This property has three different buildings with a joint clubhouse. They have daily activities like every other Marriott Vacation Club. The pool area is outdated but clean. The Birch building sits right off the freeway, which makes it a bit loud, but it is heavily wooded and the adjacent stream is really beautiful. Sadly, the Birch rooms are really dated and worn out. The sofa sleeper was pretty old, as was the carpet. The granite countertop in the tiny bathroom was cracked across the front and poorly repaired. Overall, it is a very lovely location in dire need of a facelift. I'd return only once the rooms are fully renovated.

We stayed at the Marriott Streamside with friends for 6 nights for skiing at Vail. Excellent 2 bed / 2 bathroom apartment with all mod cons inc a fully kitted kitchen. Very comfortable bedrooms & plenty of space. Good service from all the team. Other facilities such as ski hire centre & swimming pool / hot tub were very welcome after a day on the slopes. Great location & easy walking distance to a supermarket, restaurants. Am excellent, frequent bus service takes you to & from the ski centre. Overall, highly recommended & will return!

We used to be Marriott timeshare owners and now I see why we no longer are Used to be they would renovate units every 5 years but this one hasn't seen any love in 20 years Units are very small, kitchen on a boat is bigger...small outdated bathroom. I wish we hadn't booked in here for a week I asked about covered parking and the front desk didn't even bother to tell me you have to reserve a garage. Only way I found out .... another guest told me to ask for one🙄

We came up here the first week of October and the weather was perfect! I'm glad it wasn't snowy because this place has a lot of outdoor stairs that you must use to get to the units. Our unit was super cute! The decor was modern. We had a 1 bedroom which had a very nice newer sleeper sofa in the living room as well as a second sleeper sofa in the bedroom. There were two bathrooms each with a shower. The kitchen was fully equipped with a full size refrigerator, oven/stove, dishwasher, and microwave. The unit also had a dining area, fireplace (wood supplied by the resort) a huge flat screen tv and another smaller flat screen in the bedroom room. The heat in the bedroom wasn't working at first so maintenance brought us a space heater and fixed it the following day. The resort also had several outdoor hot tubs, an indoor/outdoor pool, a sauna, a steamroom, craft activities, and much more! We had a great time! I wouldn't go when it's snowy due to the stairs situation.

We had a two-bedroom, two-bath suite at Marriott's StreamSide Birch at Vail location. The suite was excellent - quite clean and well-maintained, with fireplace and balcony. The kitchen was fully stocked - we had breakfast and evening snacks & drinks in the suite. The staff was quite helpful and knowledgeable. We stayed several nights and did different scenic day trips each day.

A very nice spot in Vail, shuttle very handy and staff super nice. Friendly, helpful. Rooms are not large, but fine. Very comfortable beds, loved sleeping listening to the creek noises. I-70 runs through the Vail Valley, so just expect some road noise but it's fine. No Resturant on site, but grocery store close across the road and easily accessible. Nice fitness center, pool and spa. Plus the ability to grill out. Very pleasant/functional kitchens. Just don't expect a new, all wow resort, expect an nice but smaller, older property. Marriott keeps the place up nicely.

Streamside is on the western side of Vail, perhaps 6 miles from Vail Center and 3 miles from Lion's head, the site of the other Marriott property in Vail. We were in a small one bedroom suite, smaller than other Marriotts, but neat and efficient. We were there in the fall when the temperatures during the day were in the low 80's and nighttime reached the low 40's. Nevertheless, the room stayed incredibly hot during the nighttime. There is no AC so I don't know how it would be tolerable in the height of summer. We had all the windows open but could not reduce the temperature below 75. Bus service is incredible. there is regular transportation by the hotel and public transportation even more often. There are few restaurants in the area, but many of course in more central Vail. A grocery store is walkable. Other vacation amenities were plentiful, including an indoor outdoor pools, hikes, other activities.

Stayed here for a night before a friends wedding in Vail. The place is very outdated and in need of renovation. It's the first place I ever stayed where I pulled the bed out of the wall. The reason it is 3 stars is the driver of the shuttle who dropped us into Vail and collected us later that night. You are a credit to the property and raised this to a 3 star rating.

The hotel facility has everything a family needs for a week of skiing some of Colorado's best powder. When not on the slopes my kids loved the game room and the indoor/outdoor pool! The ability to get a 2 room suite with a kitchen is fantastic! We could still have family meals around the table!

I want to start by saying that this hotel shouldn't be part of the vacation club network. The rooms are glorified hotel rooms with 80s dacor. The staff is untrained and not very helpful. There is no food or a marketplace on site. I've stayed at a bunch of vacation club locations this one by far is the worst. The best part you ask? The shuttle that goes to lions head so you can ski. I'm terribly disappointed that this could possibly be included in the network of the vacation clubs. Vail skiing was excellent.
