AmericInn by Wyndham Urbana/Champaign University Area

4/5 Good

"I like the property. The staff is friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and bed was comfortable. The deal breaker for me is they don’t have internet service. It was my second stay there. I changed settings on my phone but still couldn’t get email, google, etc. With it being election night, I wanted to find results for my home county results, but wasn’t able to. Very frustrating!"

Hotel Royer Urbana Champaign, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

4/5 Good

"Rooms are nice and clean just like the pictures on website. Any staff I encountered was friendly and helpful. Parking lot is nicely lit and feels safe. I did not use the amenities however I did check them out the pool looked clean nice and easily accessible for guests. I ordered food at the bar and my filet was tasty and cooked as ordered. A bit overpriced but the ease of payment, either to room cash or charge was nice and convenient. The bartender made an old fashioned and it was good except they didn't have the signature specialty ice cube. doesn't change the flavor of the cocktail it was good. They must change those short barstools. The bartender on Mondays knows his cocktails and was friendly and helpful. I ate at the bar to watch game. Only down side to bar area is there are no TV's for sporting events, a couple I was speaking with were going to another venue to watch game and get food they only stopped for 1 cocktail prior to leaving. seems like lost revenue to me. other than barstools place is cozy. Next time I'm working anywhere near there I will be staying again."

4/5 Good

"I have the same feedback as others here: I might not have stayed here had I known it was a Motel 6, the virtual check-in kiosk on the lobby was ok but felt weird, bathroom only had 2 bars of soap and no other amenities (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc.), and no breakfast. Our stay was generally ok - pretty clean hotel and room, decently quiet (maybe we lucked out), Additional feedback: very flimsy bed blanket and cover, bathroom floor tile grout needed a deep cleaning/replacement"
