I stayed at BPV for a month while doing a training at the Yoga Barn. It was perfect in every way. The pool was paradise and usually I was the only one at it. I stayed in Villa Arjuna (the closest and perhaps smallest room). I heard street noise a few times, but was overall very comfortable there. Great AC, nice kitchen, decent water pressure. They provide drinking water, so no need to worry bout that. Lovely porch looking out on a beautiful green field that sometimes has a couple of cows in it. Bird songs and fish pond complimentary! Wonderfully friendly staff really made my trip.

Great location great staf

This was conveniently placed close to the monkey forest and near the heart of ubud, but despite being in town the place feels secluded once you walk into the gardens. Once a week you hear traditional Bali music playing live next door which adds to the experience. The staff were always very helpful and friendly. Will definitely come back!

An Unpleasant stay

The hotel room offered to me was the last one available and the condition of the room was very old and the facility was totally outdated. There are many extra furnitures in the room that are obviously supposed to be disposed e.g. the fan, the chairs etc. The room is located at the innermost back, and it looks more like a storage room rather than a hotel room. I did not stay longer at Ubud due to its bad condition.

I liked the place but you shouldn't be too picky if you stay here. Bathroom isn't too convenient. Shower isn't great. There was some noise and some bugs. And animals do visit the patio at night and leave evidence. But I was ok with this.

Good value for money, centrally located

Very confortable and spacious room, the swimming pool is also very beautiful a bit hidden and it was always empty when I went. On the down side I had the room close to the street so I could sometimes hear the street traffic, also the shower head didn't always work and water was cold, but with the heat that's ok. Staff was very friendly and it was handy to be able to rent a scooter from them.

great place with super friendly staff

Great place in Ubud - just away from the busy area to feel like a little sanctuary but close enough to walk to everything. The service and staff were great, the breakfasts were good, wifi was solid, and the pool was nice. It's well set up if you need to get some work done with a couple of areas to choose from. When we arrived, there had been a bit of a mix up so they upgraded us to the villa which was very nice with two balconies, a little garden, loft sleeping area and a functional kitchenette. The only issue we had was the tiny ants that took over the kitchen - we ended up storing everything (even stuff in jars or sealed containers) in the fridge. Other than that - great place with super friendly staff. We'd stay again - in fact we ended up extending our stay for another week!

Peaceful oasis in Ubud

This is a charming if slightly worn in Ubud oasis. Nice private pool area. Long path off the street to spacious, semi-self contained villas. Lovely romantic rooms with 4 poster beds and mozzie nets. Kitchenette is basic and amenities limited. Bathrooms partially open yet private. Pretty gardens. Very clean despite a bit of wear n tear. Sweet, warm, helpful staff. Simple breakfast on your private patio included (eggs or a banana pancake plus tropical fruit). Good location near cafes (& 5-10 mins from monkey forest). Exceptional value. We will stay again when we next visit Ubud.

Great villa near many hotspots

This place is a bit far away from downtown Ubud and Ubud market but is a great location on it's own. Many great restaurants and shops near by. My villa was beautiful and although I didn't have a private pool the pool was a short walk away and I was usually the only one there. The villa was spacious, clean and provided filtered water. There are many options for different breakfasts including eggs or pancakes (I think). Breakfast for me was scrambled eggs with fruit every morning. When I had problem with my wifi they worked hard to help me.

Nice and roomy villas. Quiet green location

Had a pleasant relaxed time. Kitchen facilities very handy. Close to shops, restaurant and spas. Staff polite and helpfull. Shuttle buses available to other parts of bali and to airport, cheaper than using taxis. However, if you are in a group better to use taxi as you will get to your destination quicker and taxis are very comfortable vehicles.

Near to everything!

It was a nice place, perfect located in Ubud, near restaurants, spa and yoga places. The backside from my daughters perspective, was that it was both big lizards (not geckos) and spiders in the rooms!

Villa spacieuse et aménagée

Grande villa avec un grand lit, une tele,une cuisine aménagée, une grande salle de bain et une terrasse. La WiFi fonctionne bien. Nous avons eu quelques coupures de courant mais le nombre est négligeable. Pas d'eau chaude tous les jours mais il fait chaud donc pas de soucis. Il y a le petit déjeuner inclus (pancake banane ou oeufs sous toutes les formes accompagné de fruits frais). Il y a une piscine propre et des transats. Nous étions seuls à presque chacune de nos baignades. Situé dans une rue commerçantes (restaurant, supermarché, tourisme...) mais à une bonne demi heure à pieds du centre d'Ubud (marché...) L'hôtel propose des services de taxi qui est au double voir au triple de prix ailleurs. Préférez leur les bus c'est plus économique et ecologique😀 Nous recommandons fortement cet établissement qui est bien au dessus des autres établissements qui sont au même prix (nous en loués 3 différents sur Bali).

Idyllisches Hotel

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage ist top - Affenwald, Geschäfte, Spa's, Restaurant sind in der Nähe, trotzdem liegt die Villa sehr ruhig mitten im Dschungel (daher auch die typischen Tiergeräusche in der Nacht... ich war froh über meine Ohropax😉). Man sollte auch keine Angst vor Geckos oder Fröschen haben, diese Tierchen begegnen einem überall. Das Frühstück wird auf der eigenen Terrasse serviert, sehr komfortabel, allerdings recht überschaubare Auswahl (Omelett Oder Pancake Oder Sandwich plus ein Mini-Obstteller). Das Service-Team war hervorragend!
